Now that the Richmond Extention gets the original TFL Announcements. I hope we also get it on the Goblin line and Bakerloo line for example.. What do you think?
Would be nice to see it further implemented on other TfL London Overground routes in TSW. But in terms of the Bakerloo Line I'd much rather a light update and upgrade to the route before any announcements would be implemented.
Mildmay might just become my favourite route after the extension and update! Getting the actual announcements is a huge win and I'm certainly excited to see how the route ends up
Considering Matt’s comments on how much of a massive pain it was to do the lighting in Bakerloo I’d guess this is pretty unlikely tbh
I think WCMLS deserves the full announcement treatment. & while we are at it, a timetable consolidation wouldn’t go amiss
You can barely hear the announcements on the Bakerloo trains in real life so you're not missing out on much.
Personally I think Bakerloo’s lighting doesn’t look bad at all especially considering it’s a TSW2 route. I’d be more than happy with just upgrades to the audio including announcements, as well as some visual improvements to the stations/ platforms.
I remember him saying on the charity live stream about that! Slightly disappointing I admit but I get it. For a TSW2 route it is VERY good (the physical detail on the 72 stock is superb). I do remember in TSW5 days there was talk of a 'light update' but it never comes to fruition unfortunately, and most likely because of those issues you've mentioned. I'm a bit peculiar like that, I find it hard to revisit routes once huge amounts relevant stock that can be added to a route are left out... I just can't play it anymore for those reasons. The WCML section on it is absolutely dead, and I can't even just enjoy the runs to Queens Park for the same reasons. It's a shame but it is what it is.
