    Think I've found the sweet spot for my PC settings now - FWIW it's a Dell 8940, i7-10700 @ 2.9Ghz, 32Gb RAM, 1Tb SSD, RTX 2060 6Gb, 4K Asus VG289 monitor - so not a fancy gaming rig, more a 5-year-old dev box :D

The settings I use give me 30fps + even in Warrington and Crewe, so I think I've pretty finished with the settings tweaking for now:

    Basic settings
    Screen res: 3840x2160
    Windows mode: Windowed Fullscreen
    Graphics preset: Medium

    Advanced settings
    Foliage: High
    Shadows: High
    Effects: High
    Sky: High
    Fog: High
    Post processing: High
    View distance: High
    Textures: High
    Enhanced Lighting: Enabled
    DirectX: 11
    Max FPS: 60
    Anti aliasing: FAA
    VSync: Off
    Screen %: 84
    FOV: 90

This gives me a pretty consistent 30+ fps even in the heavy areas, so I'm very happy with how it's running now, and it looks fantastic with the new lighting! Took a lot of fiddling to get here, but it was worth it. YMMV of course, but thought I'd share in case it helps.

Mines only a 4060. It definitely looks better to me and runs smoother than I've ever known It.

Yeah, compared to TSW6, it definitely runs smoother (even if comparing TSW7 Epic vs TSW6 Ultra) and looks way better because of the enhanced lighting.

Though where I see little difference is between TSW7 Epic and TSW7 Ultra, which I think may be due to my monitor resolution.

I think it takes a bit of tweaking with various things. I bought a new monitor earlier in the year and thought, well it looks okay but not as sharp as you see on streams. I've found putting a large book underneath it and raising it has made a world of difference!

Yeah, you're right, I'll do some more tweaking to find the best combination for me.
