Dear Dovetail Games and Third-Party Developers,
With Train Sim World 7 taking us to amazing new horizons like Japan and Portugal, it is the perfect time to finally bring the game to Scandinavia. I would like to strongly suggest a route that is at the very top of many players' wishlists: The Öresund Line (Öresundsbanan), connecting Malmö, Sweden to Copenhagen, Denmark.
This route would offer an unforgettable driving experience, combining stunning engineering marvels with unparalleled coastal scenery. Here is why this route would be a masterpiece in TSW 7:
    1. The Route & The Journey:
    • Starting Point: Malmö Central Station (Sweden), a beautiful mix of historic architecture and modern underground platforms.
    • The Highlight (The Öresund Bridge): Driving out of Sweden and accelerating onto Europe's longest combined railway and road bridge. Players would experience driving a train surrounded by nothing but the vast, breathtaking ocean on both sides.
    • The Transition: Plunging from the open sea straight into the immersive darkness of the Peberholm artificial island's Drogden Tunnel.
    • Destination: Emerging back into the light and rolling into the bustling hub of Copenhagen Central Station (København H) in Denmark.
    2. Visuals and Technology Showcase:
With TSW 7's new visual upgrades and dynamic live weather system, this route would be a visual showcase. Imagine driving across the Öresund Bridge during a golden hour sunset, or fighting a dramatic Nordic winter blizzard with heavy snow spraying against the windshield.
    3. Rolling Stock & Gameplay:
    • The Iconic X31K (Litra ET): The classic dual-voltage electric multiple unit (EMU) used for these cross-border commuter services. It would offer a unique gameplay element when switching signaling systems and power grids between Sweden and Denmark seamlessly.
    • The SJ X2000: Sweden’s famous tilting high-speed train, which would add an exciting express service layer to the route.
    • Freight Potential: The route is a vital corridor for European rail freight, allowing for intense freight operations across the bridge.
This cross-border route offers the perfect blend of high-speed passenger action, scenic coastal driving, and technical variety. It would instantly captivate the global player base and bring a much-requested Nordic presence to the TSW universe.
Thank you for your incredible work on TSW 7, and I truly hope to see the Öresund Line realized in the near future!

    Best regards,
    Gen /Taiwan
