Okay I’ve set this thread for the community to discuss how they feel about possible restrictions on CC due to owners asking DTG for them to do so. Not only that tho, for I believe there are a number of reasons for the community to discuss. In my experience speaking with many forum members shared the same opinions when it come to issues such as. A) Livery Blurry, Not loading in on time. B) New menu features that remove livery work or sub work. (The system can’t handle liveries). Thus removing any pleasure for CC curators and subscription users. C) User age and availability of information. Understanding the laws or regulations that come with using copyright or TM brands, logos. No assistance from DTG for members concerned. (Yes DTG have a list of companies in the T&Cs but users still work outside of DTG authorised company list) Adds confusion to others. Monkey see, Monkey Do. D) Users feel like DTG is restricting LD creators with aim to promote its own products. E) Would DTG address some of these concerns if found to be valid by the community. F) Could DTG work more closely with the community and TOCs. Promoting brands, building partnerships, new ideas such as TOCs work closely with DTG on a driver program project. Safety concerns/ environmental concerns. So with a few of my own ideas or opinions added with the sentiments of others now and in the past. (No names mentioned) There was agreement tho and why after speaking to a forum member today touched upon how airline allow fans to use brands on Microsoft products, flights sims, then I felt it was time to allow others to discuss the matters if they too felt so strongly or have identified as many have what is going on and to discuss in order to find some clarification about what is being assumed without a proper discussion taking place. I must state that GBR can be discussed, however GBR is not the target or focus of discussion. To focus on the bullet points and find answers, add some clarity to others that seek such information. Have fun folks and please keep it respectful. We have opinions and can discuss if egos are removed. Nothing is personal or should be seen as an attack, so no need to defend. Just talk and discuss. I don’t want to place this comment yet so many topics sway away from its source content turning threads or the wider forum into free for all. Thus nothing seem to get better. Thank you. ✌.
