The line between Didcot and Banbury is approximately 33 miles long, and has 9 stations on it, with the most major being Didcot Parkway, Oxford and Banbury. Stopping services are operated by Class 165 'Turbos' but Class 220 'Voyagers' and Class 800/801/802 IET's are commonly seen passing along the route, as well as GBRf container freight.[IMG]
    Proposed Rolling Stock
    • Class 165/166 'Turbo' in Great Western Green livery[IMG]
    • [IMG]Class 800/801/802 'IET'[IMG]
    • Class 66/7 in GBRf 'Europort' livery + Intermodal wagons[IMG]
    Possible DLC's
    • Class 180 in First Great Western livery[IMG]
    • Class 168/0 in Chiltern Railways 'Mainline' livery for AI at Oxford as well as one a day Chiltern service to Banbury from Oxford.[IMG]

Excellent Idea and for standard make it 800/802 including 800 321 getting a mask paint on the coupler Door 165 220/221. 166 & 66 layered from GWML.

Definitely, but I'd be a bit more ambitious and hope for all the way from Reading to Banbury. Probably makes the most sense for possible continuations from Great Western Express, which would allow stoppers from Reading to Oxford and a bit more room for the Voyagers to stretch their legs as they begin their journey up the back way to Manchester.

It Should Be Reading- Banbury as if they added the Voyager Oxford- Banbury would be awfully short as the Journey takes about 20-30 mins and the IET Would Be Good shout too

I don't think it's possible to get a Voyager in Cross Country livery since all XC stuff was removed from TS for license ending reasons.
Might have to wait until a new operator takes over (Great British Railways?) until we can get a branded one of sorts.

Would be good to put it in my fav BR Blue era, But the current times are ok.
Btw this route needs layers from GWE for 43, 166 and 66 and also Didcot Yard for trains from GWE to do some shunting missions+ some services to Wembley Euroterminal (and other places) like on GWE.

Please do this ^^ I’m originally from Banbury and I’d love to have Banbury in the game although I think Reading to Banbury would be the better option then people with more packs could link them and do full London to Scotland routes too. I am living in Scotland now

You could either extend to Reading like some have suggested or even also include the line to Bicester.

The second one would allow the 168 in your suggestion more use than just AI.

Great suggestion, I'm echoing the others here but I'd extend it to Reading because I think that Didcot-Banbury is too short but getting it to Reading would give this route that extra bit, not to add the power changeover on the Class 800 around the Didcot area too :)
