Outside of the length, The North London Line has 1:1 freight and commuter AI traffic, is far busier and has what appears to be a 1:1 timetable, and reskinned units to fill in other operators... All by a one man band. FCL has a few bits of AI dotted around Edinburgh Waverley, the base time table seems to be lacking somewhat, and the route only has 170s north of Edinburgh... Where are the HSTs that could have been reskinned like Johannes has done on other stock on his own route? Where is the any of the commuter traffic the FCL sees in real life? At the moment it just seems a very one dimensional route. Skyhooks timetable should be a much needed improvement that will draw me back to FCL, but in its current form the mileage means nothing when the overall experience is absolutely bland. In actual fact the North London Line is a more sophisticated and complicated route to make, but has been absolutely blown out of the water by a one man band, single developer. Whilst FCL, outside of the forth rail bridge, is pretty simple... It took and entire team to create it, yes a whole team of developers, couldn't even make it as good as Johannes route who done this as a single developer. Johannes may be 12 miles in its current state but capturing the densely populated London skyline and implemented 1:1 line traffic is no easy task. So yes Fife Circle has the mileage, but that means nothing when a route feels sloppy and half baked. Quality prevails. One is a McDonalds burger and the other is a sirloin steak with all the meat and gravy...
