    [Founders Edition]
The journey of TSW on Xbox started some years ago with the Founders Edition.

The Founders Edition just contained one route, the GWE one. It was where they first tested the water for TSW on Console and it was running pretty rough. The Edition was more like some kind of early access without really naming it that way. They improved the game with Patches based on reports but ultimately unlikely to a Early Access game they "abandoned" this Version.
You had to upgrade, and with that pay for, the "full" release, which contained the NEC and RT route. So it felt like early access but you didnt got the perks of an Early Access title with a free update.

However the upgrade price wasnt much and you got two additional routes. Overall it seemed alright, but it still left a first small bad taste to the Franchise.

Of course you could have still kept the Founders Edition, but you wouldnt have got any additional performance updates to it or the ability to buy new extension routes. It would have just been GWE in the state from a few years back.

[The "full" Release (GWE, RT; NEC)]

So i was following the game and this Forums since the first announcement that it would come to Xbox. Since PC already got the two additional routes i had a good knowing about the Bugs and stuff that isnt working right,
As a reasonable person you would think that DTG, since they are going to port these routes to Console, would use this to fix some of the Bugs. This would have been a good start for the full game to release it in a more polished Version on Consoles (Including PS4 for the first time) and of course to get the PC players a free patch with bug fixes at the same time. Could have benefitted all players equally.

However it was the next negative suprise that they ported the routes over without any fixes. Knowing that you port over broken content to sell it to a new audience and not using the chanc,e when you have to touch it again, to fix some bugs.
The second time it left a bit of a bad taste on the Franchise, which to be clear has the potential to be a great Train Driving game.

    [Further DLC Releases]

Since then there were a lot of DLC Releases. Thats all expected and good for a game like this. I also found the pricing to be mostly fair given the costs to develop this Content.

The things that are leaving the bad tastes are the long lists of bugs every DLC came with. This wouldnt have been a big problem if there were some commitment to fix most of them in a timely manner.

But still to this day you have wrong speeds and broken Signaling on the NEC Route, despite the fact they released Loco Addons for the route.

You still have plenty of Services in Service Mode across all routes that are causing a complete Traffic Jam, beeing stuck at red signals that never clear and leaving those Services not able to beeing finished.

To this day you still have a Loco that isnt performing as it should while it works correctly on the PC plattform.

There were things listed as fixed in patch notes, like the Tunnels out of Penn Station, that are still not working despite beeing reported as still broken post Patch.

There are achievements not tracking / unlocking to this Day.
Introduced features like Mastery never worked consistently since Release.

Some routes are crashing on certain Console Version in certain areas because they seem to run out of memory.

A lot of the patches they published seem to be aimed towards some of the easier fixes to have something on the List, rather than tackling more complex and annoying bugs.

We dont know if with the last DLC Release for TSW 1 we will see some of this bugs fixed. But the past hasnt given any indication that they will fix more than a handful of those.

    [TSW 2]

Now we are going into the "next game", TSW2. With that the support of TSW ends. No further Patches, bug fixes for the old Content after the final DLC relase.

You will be able to use your TSW routes in TSW2, but only in the state they are. You wont get the benefit of new features like the Livery Editor, Scenario planner. You wont even be able to use any of the old Loco DLC you purchased on TSW2 routes going forward. The whole substituion system is starting over at 0 for any new Route.

So please DTG, tell my why i should have more trust in your "new" Product?
What have you done to make sure that all content is working correctly on all platforms?
What have you changed in your Quality Assurance to make sure there are less crucial and easy to spot bugs in every release?
Is there a clear committmend to fix more bugs in a more timely manner for TSW2? Especially bugs regarding the Simultation aspects, like Loco Performance, Signal and Safety Systems?
