The Metropolitan Line, Amersham To Aldgate

    The Metropolitan Line is a sub surface line was built using cut and cover so it has a different feel to it compared to the Bakerloo line. The line This 42 mile long line has was opened in 1863 and was extended in 1925 and has 34 stations on it
    This line currently uses S8 stock that replaced the A stock from the 1960's and has a top running speed of 62mph its the only underground line to travel this fast and does so on the long sections around Finchley Road.

    Please next time can you search for metropolitan line before you post as it has been suggested several times including recently
