The Red Light Bug District [multiple Platforms, Pc, Xb, Ps]

Has someone found a way to get around the stuck train on the International Rescue scenario by using god mode or removing the ai? I tried understanding the different debug settings but I can't get it to work (e.g. the ts2.dbg ai settings to get on the driver's seat (?) or trying to set signals with the dispatcher commands using the signal id's from the debug menu I didn't get it working). Only thing I achieved so far with god mode is flagging the scenario as completed (but not actually having it completed ofc) and seeing if the train would depart at 0:00 am like it says on the station's departure board by setting the time but ofc it didn't move off confirming that it's eternally stuck at that point.
I also tried 'ts2.dbg.RemoveTrainFromTrack AI_Service_2' to no avail. (It does recognize 'AI_Service_2' as the id in the 'ts2.dbg.AISetDriveable' command replacing the existing driver but unfortunately not getting rid of it). In general I am sort of confused as to what the commands even do at all. For example after entering 'ts2.gameplay.IgnoreSPADGameOver' into the console I do in fact STILL get a gameover when crossing a red signal).
'ts2.dbg.ToggleDriverPermission' doesn't work too for all the RVM's that have OBB 4024 in their name. Relinquishing my service won't change it either and when I enter the command for example on a BR 185 where it should be clear what model it is (from a freight train consist) it doesn't change to '[PLAYER OWNED]'.

Any help with instructions would be appreciated but it's more useful if you try it in the scenario itself as well (playing on TSW4 steam version).

Yes it seems there clearly is an issue, and how this affects Free roam I'm unsure.

 

How are these red light issues not fixed yet? They are game breaking bugs!!!
Talk about a trash developer. Outsource it to Rivet or Skyhook if you're incapable of fixing it Dovetail. Hell, I bet there's even people willing to do it for free if you'd share the (broken) code.

Saw the update this morning, patch notes in the spoiler tag, so I jumped into the route, International Rescue and it's not any better, in fact, it's a little worse. See the attached images below, I think they'll explain everything pretty clearly.

I also tried today and got the same result. I was hoping that after the freight train had passed, I would be able to continue. One can dream - green light, green light, green light. The light is still red after 30 minutes...

 

YES, That we can, whatever they did pushed the Red Light Bug back, rather than correct it, twice I Spad out at first, I was completely puzzled as to why I tried it a third time and realized the Red light is now closer to the start point. But now will the next patch push the red light to the start point?

 

Let me guess? The light at the beginning of the scenario won't change after the train passes? LOL!!

 

That red light keeps moving closer to the start point, now that would be a lick in the Bumm..LOL

 

Is DTG ever gonna fix this bug bc it already exists for 5+ months now at this point

 

You can open a ticket. Maybe DTG is waiting for a record number of complaints before addressing it. It's surprising that a recent product hasn't been fixed and is still on sale. For me, this is a major issue as this scenario blocks other features.

Yea but whats also annoying is that now even the mastery is bugged and dtg is taking so long to fix it like why do we have to wait months or even years for them to fix stuff

 

If the development team were as proactive as the marketing team, the issues would be resolved quickly, in my opinion.

I believe there is a lack of a testing team (besides us, who pay for the product and report issues) that reports problems to the development teams for correction.

In my opinion, once again, DTG lacks pride in their products to leave such annoying bugs for the fans of this franchise.

 

Really annoying this red light bug ... Still using a PS4 and on TSW4 the bug is not solved due to this AI train, but on TSW5 the bug seems already to occur just a bit earlier on the route as the red light just before the junction with the mainline remains red, and while waiting you can see a freight train passing by on the main line (from left to right) but even 15 minutes after it has passed, the red light remains ... red ....

 

I noticed that after the last patch, and yet again another patch, and nothing was mentioned about any Red Light Bug being in this recent patch.

 

I made an ticket in the support about this issue last week and today it got deleted out of nowhere in really starting to question on what DTG is doing rn

What of the other services/timetables/scenarios which have the same Red Light Bug, as posted in this thread, which do go back to TSW4.

 

DTG-Chris I've red through that whole problem for half a year now - can we expect a working fix for this problem in the near future or at all? I would like to know if I've wasted quite a bit of money on the Game and its DLCs..

 

from my ticket i made to the support it looks like chris prob told the devs already about the issue but its now just that we have to wait and see when they are gonna fix it but im prety sure dtg knows about it now

 

well, we had to wait another half year for TSW 2020 to get its red light bug fixed..

 

Here is another Red Light Bug, but only when a save game is used. I figured I would add it here in the event someone uses the save on this route or any of the services, well at least this one that is.

 

I have hopes, that the issue will be fixed this year..

 

i can officially say that i found yet another red light bug and this time its with 1 of the br218s its scenario called to the rescue and that also has an red light bug making an mrce br182 also getting stuck i rlly hope dtg fixes these red signal bugs bc they are generally quite annoying especcially in the case of s bahn vorarlberg

 

That is the way is for certain routes and activities (services or scenarios) as far as I know since TSW2.

Honestly, I'm not surprised, but this save game issue is that old, I have used the save game option a fair amount of times, but the first time I saw a save game do this.

Guys they officially fixed the s bahn vorarlberg scenario the train is now gone and the signal is finally green 7 months of waiting

 

On what system? That's the first time I've read it finally got fixed. The other red light bug thread indicates it hasn't been fixed after all yet again.

 

Im on ps5 and for me the red signal bug in international rescue is finally gone

 

Btw is there info if the scenario to the rescue for the br218 got also fixed or only s bahn vorarlberg?

 

Yup they fixed the br218s scenario to the rescue the red signal is also there gone our effords actually worked lets go

 

Finaly, the issue has been resolved. I managed to complete the scenario. Thanks to everyone who helped fix the problem.

 

youre welcome and i prob believe bc i made those tickets in support that these signal bugs got fixed bc i saw nobody else besides me report the to the rescue scenario bug and that also got fixed

 

I just tried it on PC (Steam) and for the first time ever since I've got that route I've managed to complete the scenario on S-Bahn Vorarlberg.
Though I have to say it was rather boring since the stranded train is on the other track, prohibiting all AI traffic except for that one goods train that started from a siding behind Bregenz. On the upside, that was to be expected in that situation so I'm glad it works now.
Haven't tried the DB BR 218 scenario yet, but I had to wait for all updates to install for the last 4 hours and it's close to 1 am now in Germany and DLC don't mysteriously get paid out of thin air, so I'll try it tomorrow (or rather much later today).

 

yea understand steam somehow takes so log for updates to install while ps5 just takes like 5 mins for it oh and btw how they fixed it they made that mrce 182 stuck at hamburg siding till you leave the station with the dostos after another freight train passed which for me was an DB BR193 vectron

for me on ps5 the to the rescue of the br218 and the s bahn vorarlberg international rescue works fine rn

 

On Ps5 scenario International rescue isnt working. In fact , you can check on trophies sites that last trophy achiever is from Jun 24 yr

 

which tsw you playing bc i have tsw 5 currently i managed to finish this scenario 2 days ago after the 21st january update

Ironically, the Hauptstrecke Hammburg-LÜbeck_Br 218 To The Rescue can be completed in TSW4; my daughter ran it, but prior to the 21-01-2025 patch, it was not.

 

Same as Old Hat trophy from TSW 3 . Works in 4 but not 3. Funny is than not a single player on Ps5 have that trophy.

 

still no TSW4 update. guess we're f'd..

 

For TSW4 and earlier, sad to say that is the way it is.
