That’s your logo and so want to replicate it as the owner wishes as you have with mine.

I still can’t believe what I am seeing.

Wow you've come really far from when you first posted on this thread. You should be proud. It genuinely looks like something you'd see in a freight consist. I may need to start taking some advice from you But seriously, well done.

 

I would, he’s good in fact no speedfreak#6380 is a Pro. End of. To do what he has in such limited time and with no direct involvement from me just the license lol or agreement to be CEO of HOOKHAUL GROUP EU. And what he does away from the forums is truly remarkable.
Even with some recent upset, He still overcome and did this for me.

That person is now speedfreak#6380. He has freedom and my trust, also the professional attributes that any company man would look for.

I am owner and CEO of HOOKHAUL GROUP. I don’t need to ask for permission from other companies that never respond anyway.
So it’s why He is now part of that group. He has talent and talent should be rewarded and respected.

I’m here but need time. Anyway speedfreak you made my Easter Sunday one to remember.
Yet because of time other things then I haven’t had much time to work on my side of the partnership.

Yet if you don’t think I am not working on this or even packed in then no I haven’t packed in. Nor on any of my work.
It’s just on hold for now.

So may I introduce 66 745 “Enterprise” HH, RNEX. It is by no means finished as what you see is me again playing around.


I am still wanting to find out if your happy with the looks of RAILNEX’s finished logo or you too are still having a play around.

I want to make sure I do what you want for your logo and RAILNEX company so I replicate it to the same high standards you have with my Logo and Branding. I try could have wished for anything better.

Why well I know fictional liveries or even pretending to treat all this as role playing. My and speedfreak are CEOs, lol.
But joking aside tho, I always wanted to see what has been done, because I knew that done right any fictional company on TSW will look the real deal.

We see evidence of that here with work from speedfreak. It’s never easy but speedfreaks approach in his attitude and skill set to create what he has is astounding. Again on his own, limited resources from me.

A Pro and as I say a Legend in my Book.

So yes I am absolutely over the moon Thank you so much.
I just hoping to be done at home by Friday and so I can give this and Rail 200 projects (If members haven’t jumped ship) my fullest attention.

I think seeing what you do for me caused me to get all emotional. So think I was in a very emotional state on Sunday.
My High in the Morning and then lows in the Evening. My imbalances, My Mr Hyde.
I really sound ungrateful and it sounds so bad to speak like this.

But what you done for me did touch me emotionally in a good way, it’s just when my emotions are out of control then so am I.

Why I tell others I don’t like surprises, it can shock me and so touch me. I am a very emotional person.

You done me proud. (I’d best go getting a little emotional now)
And I am waffling.

So yes I appreciate everything you have done. I truly can’t wait to see you do next, I have 3 66s in the paint Shop

Thanks for this.
I’ll check in when I have more time.

Won’t say much but I needed time at home. My mistake and one I have to fix.
I am by taking the time I should have a few days or weeks ago. The house is a mess.

Seeing day in day out got me the state of it all. It wasn’t balanced neat clean nor tidy.
I couldn’t take it no more, I was highly emotional that late Sunday and something set me off.
I couldn’t live like that, everything at home has to be in order. Everything clean in it place. No noise nothing.
Nothing moves, and everything has it place. Balance and harmony, only then can I rest.

Thus I am still out of balance and why I need to time fix what I have caused at home.
Then try picking up the pieces here when I manage to focus again.

I have to have Order. Yet that means having take a tough approach when needed.
Yet like in the past I learnt the hard way if one doesn’t respect order then it will get tough. Ie Make life harder for themselves.

It’s simply a case of respect and responsibility.
Things can be done the hard way or the ease way.

And right now I doing it hard way because I have made it hard for myself. I never respected my duty at home nor took any responsibility for it. Now I am.

I had to things to respect and be responsible for. You guys and the Project and my family and Home.
I failed the latter.

Making me a bad father. I put the Project over my family.
It’s why it all means so much to me but why devote myself to something that could be a waste of time.

Time is precious we can never buy it from the shops. Hence I need to spend it wisely.

And so I would always take your honest advice freely. Because I speak to openly but only because I am honest for my own good at times.

I know others doing like being as open as me, I respect that. Yet I will also respect your true honest opinions too.
Why because I truly believe that man forgets to see the errors of his ways. Blind, potentially meaning it takes another person to open their eyes. So therefore will always listen. Someone that doesn’t listen is arrogant. The arrogant fail eventually because they never see the error of there ways.

I am not an ignorant man so anything you say I will take on board, I will always respect you and your opinions.

I'm great thanks. Just getting used to being back in my routine No worries. Just get back to me when you are free. I may have to give up my title if you're starting the mysterious entries (sorry maybe that's a bad joke, just trying to lighten the mood) I've got a few plans for Rail 200 as well as my own work coming up, so I'll be pulling my own weight now. I've already had positive talks with TG08 about one of these plans and I'll share more with everyone when I'm ready.

Hey that’s what’s is all about. Sharing the same passion and having some fun with role play etc.
A little escape from the madness.

Again I am so happy we have done this, it’s a simulation game, so why not simulate a fictional company to add a different layer to the experience. Because I’d never be a CEO in the real world but this way we can.
Makes me smile Inside knowing you share the same love as I do for creating fictional companies and all that comes with a company like branding etc.

I even offered DTG Matt his own livery using something he had rights to which was Train Sim or something I can’t remember.
But I came up with Train Sim Networks for a 395.
It’s been unblocked so I am assuming I can share. It was to part of the Team DTG project and then there was the standard one as seen above for DTG Matt to use as his own little brand or company in the game. I knew he like to do charity work and so I thought if he had is own little company could he use that for what ever purpose he felt fit in TSW products.

If you have played game like me since a child then you will see that many companies take this approach.
Rockstar Games that do as GTA have many fictional company brands so can do what they please.
And so I thought why couldn’t TSW have its own fictional franchise or brand in game.
We have the normal content and then the fun creative side.

And it’s role play. Kids do it and so do some adults.

So yes I think doing what we are has many advantages when it comes to being creative on something called Creators Club.
Because yes it’s nice making real TOCs but I can’t be creatively free as I am when thinking of fictional companies.

Here are mine in case you like the sound of them.
UK Based. Not many for other countries. HOOHAUL does operate in the US and so has GANNET freight.
HOOHAUL Group.
GRLON.
Lion Rail.
Gannet Express.
Gannet Freight.
Trakemap.
HHS, HOOKHAUL Services.
Trous Rail.
SimTH. (Sim Train Hire)
Ab Fab Freight.

Old work but may bring this one back. Trous Rail. What do you think?. Here’s SimTH. And then my only EU fictional livery. DSGN.
As you can see, Been at it for many years. But for most of these companies to work I’d needed stock like what you have done.
Real companies have their own rolling stock so why not anything I or you do not have that.

It creative and fun, I was even thinking about people who enjoy fleet management to set up freight movements using fictional brands for scenarios. Mix things up a little across the board like.

A routine you say, well we all need one of those mate
Giving up titles, and possibly hidden meanings in my latest comments. I can’t remember them lol.
Someone else must have been in charge. But I will say this, I felt like jealousy or a power struggle was taking place.

I know as a matter of fact it would, why because like anything that Men do, then Men will picker while the bigger problem remains.
A Man must have integrity and strength to reason. Hence without reasonable Men then there will be no resolution to a problem.
Simply put that’s confrontation be in my mind or something else.

So I have to say something and its amazing I did as in the past I’d just walk away. Which means if I was you I’d take all I could while I am here speaking. It’s taken a lot for me to settle down and be here. I am only here now because I have to wait a few hours. Well 12 to 16 is says on the tin. Some High Gloss Polycell stuff. So back to work later.

But I am sorry the tone or even the nature, it’s how my mindset was I guess. Confrontational thoughts about what I sensed. I trust my gut feelings you see. I don’t like confrontation especially if I am emotional as I was on Sunday. Why because you can see how quick I can snap or change. Again is it Bipolar Disorder?. I don’t know yet. But I know I can not afford any confrontation.
Sorry to openly speak like this but hey I do as I understand how I am is not what others consider normal. But what is normal?, and why should anyone with a Mental Health condition be treated any differently or feel they can’t be part of something.

My friend you know I accept my faults and because of that I am a happier man for it.
Meaning I accept I messed up at home thus adding pressure due to living in such mess then me acting the way I did.

So for that I am sorry for dropping you and possibly TG08 in it at the last second. If you guys are still at it then do you guys react to being under pressure?. If your still at it then I’d say yes your are or both are. And again I hope to see what happened when I get more time to focus on picking up those pieces.

I am still at it too which in fact I need to go as I will be working on liveries now as I’ll be painting through the night.
But look I am fine okay, I am always am and used to being up and down, I just hope you guys are to. At least you can’t say it’s boring lol.

And if we all reach the end can say it was one hell of ride

Chin up then I guess chaps. But just remember I have issues and must avoid any kind of negativity or conflicts.
I always respected my Boss, and any Team Leader. Why because I was one a many of time like I said.
Hence I understand and I don’t like calling myself the leader. But leaders and all bosses we work for have to make the end decisions.
Because without a strong leader then discussion turn to debate and then tension can rise.
And the only way to stop that from occurring is to make executive decisions for the benefit of the team and project.
All members must respect their leaders responsibilities or position.

There can be only one Boss or one Leader for a reason. Order. Like John Bercow. Lol.
Without a leader to call the end shots then you will just have a load of nonsense being shouted across the room. In the House of Commons, lol.

So I kindly ask all house representatives to respect that order of the House of Representatives. Chuckle chuckle
Parties can discuss and debate issues, but have respect for their position and the position of the Head Speaker.
There can not be any conflict between parties or your government will not function

We all know what happens next with conflicting interests in the House.
It’s call for a public debate and end vote. A referendum.

So yes me trying to make light hearted comments about it. And just another example of my long waffling again.
That I will nip in the Bottom soon.

Why because take me ages to write, ages for you to read, not to mention thinking of what to say.
Treat it as waffle, and if you like the waffle then sit back and enjoy it with a little bit of Jam. Haha

It's fine. We all have our ups and downs. Honestly, if I told you the way I was and what was going through my mind after that "problem" I told you about, you'd think you were normal. But I won't go into that, in a public thread that is, as I'm not comfortable talking about that. All I will say is when you're at rock bottom, you can get angry, upset and more in a matter of seconds. Sadly I know this from experience so if anyone does ever feel like this, please tell someone you care about. It took me a while to, but it helps.

Sorry I've sidetracked. Just old memories flashing back.... Anyway, the waffles are fine. I've got a plate of maple bacon with the waffles you served But joking aside, it's fine really. It shows your being honest, which I'm sure people can appreciate. I know it can be hard to be honest at times so I do appreciate your transparency

You have nothing to be sorry for. You did the right thing at the end of the day. Plus, it'll mean that you can give yourself some headspace for other ideas, or even just giving yourself some time to relax.

hey mate, i'm way behind on the messages but they are always wonderful words.

and yes it is a passion to make such beautiful liveries and have your own fictional companies. i love RAILNEX and the partnership with HOOKHAUL from the bottom of my heart, it is the perfect collaboration!

to come on your 66, my logo on it looks fine, only the lines could you maybe make the same as my vectron? idk you have been very creative and i like to see that

i also went further in the paint shop and gave the 182 a color. it was a leased Loc from MRCE dispolok and RAILNEX took it under its own management. It has been given the very tight and clean collaboration livery of HOOKHAUL and RAILNEX,
the livery is quite 'basic' but radiates very professional and industrial.

I made multiple versions because I really couldn't choose but I still like the idea of an acquired loc from MRCE because the logo fits so well.

This train will mainly transport iron steel coal and other heavy goods in the characteristic collaboration house style just like Shimmns wagons

I think all your liveries look good and realistic I can't make anything else of it and say that it is excellent work friend


maybe I'll add the SIEMENS logo above DISPOLOK, because otherwise it's such an empty white surface and it fits the idea, although dispolok existed until 2010 when it was taken over by MRCE, it is still realistic that locos with the name continued to run around

and as you can see i also adjusted my logo a bit at least ONLY the X. the 3 thin lines went over the right side of the X with a few pixels parallel. that gives a bit of a 3D effect or something XD but i really like my logo now.

I just want to say thank you to for your kind words, yet I think the work you have done shows how much this collaboration means to you and the whole fictional livery side, yet turning them into something professional looking. Key really for any fictional company or livery do well on CC.

So my friend I can see you have skill and the knowledge I am missing in certain areas.

For example the work you have shown me is beyond anything I thought possible. That knowledge and the interest you have in the haulage and the rail industry is clearly coming into play. You have brought it all together so soon too.
Yet look it man. It’s absolutely perfect.

But if your looking for any feedback on some doubts you have. Then again you know best, I feel it has the look I want and like. Simple yet functional. That’s good design. I think it working fine as it is. If you add Siemens to fill the space then would it look too much.
I think the simplistic look as it stand works. But again you know best and as CEO of HOOKHAUL Group EU then you have all control of European operations and fleet management.

The only thing I am worried about and I am just being cautious about this due to how things can get taken down. Then is using a number of companies you have alongside our work okay?. I wouldn’t want you to working your bum of and then it get taken down.
As I say I always worry about that side of things yet if you know better then I will trust your judgement.

Okay your Our first joint livery is coming on slowly. But I ran into a few issues and I was trying to keep the logo low on decals.
So the new concept is 57 decals.

The issue I encountered and why I have requested TSLP liveries to adjust RAILNEX brand on class 66s planned to work for RAILNEX UK operations. As it stood and taking cues from your original design then the logo against the blue wasn’t working with the colours you wanted. They logo wasn’t standing out. So to try resolve this I continued the flag colours in to the X. Your name logo is still the blue you requested. I have also pre planned your logo as underneath will eventually be UK operations.
So again the logo has been tightened up to allow a clean line for future text. As you will have a full class 66 in your full UK based livery.
With the option to hire more units.

I honestly feel and speaking from past experience that using the flag theme works well as a logo then as you will see. It helps the logo speak and has personality. As I have been specifically looking at how easily adaptable your logo is especially for your core brand theme seen on UK rolling stock. You have done mine perfectly well.

But me being me I was testing a few things such as against the yellow as I’d change the logo all black.
So after doing some testing I just felt the logo needed to be tighter and more balanced. If felt it wasn’t happy as it was.
Your logo was speaking to me hahaha. So I listened to your logo on this one.

And with that I shall leave you with a few pictures to see what the logo says to you.
Would you say it’s looks happy or sad?.
Sorry I haven’t made much progress due to trying get your logo to work for UK branding.

(The Reason there is a 47 behind the A3 was for a planned Blackpool South to Kirkham and Wesham run, with Scotsman unable to run round the train again if that makes sense)

In fact I have always wanted rolling stock for this loco design. I have the Two 66s.
This to go with the Scotsman. Back up for excursions, or chartered services.

We all know how well a train looks in a matching livery.

It’s is again something that’s been on my mind for sometime. Yet after so many ups and downs in the past which lead me to not using TSW for over a year. Then unfortunately I have fallen behind with so many ideas. I wanted to sit down and consider what approach to take for introducing a new passenger service to TSW5. It’s quite difficult as I don’t want the name sound cheesy.
Like BOBs line or something.
So I did these about a year and half ago. But then I left here and the game so nothing progressed. Just a few of many different designs.

Unfortunately things happen and so the ideas you mention have been on my mind for some time.
Just not enough time to focus on so many things at once. I won’t rush work either so that dealing more work this setting it back further and further.

I need hands lol.

Sure your do your thing. As long as you don’t take to much on like I tried to do.
Bad timing for me tho but sure you have a go. Especially for the 158. I love it’s design and if you can find a name or logo then it would help get them out at some point.

I like DMU but my creative side and worry about TOCs prevented me. I did these some time ago but lost them all. These are the only photos I have left of them and I sure I may have posted these before. But for I’ll add here for the topic of conversation.
I have many others across TSW2 and 3 that have not even been logged but there around in some form or another. So when the time is right I will look as see if there’s anything I could add on CC as it’s flooded really.

But you have a go at being really bold with colours and shapes. I found the AYGO logo tricky to implement on both sides and would take a considerable amount of time to work a design and have it flipped but not mirrored.
Just see what you can do aint it mate.

We never know unless we try. And if we fail, then try harder next time.
I failed on many liveries yet hasn’t made me give in.

Anyway I am waffling and in between Jobs. So again gotta dash mate.

Well I don't know exactly what the policy is and how much DTG checks it, so far there is nothing wrong I think.

and my secret weapon for all these ideas is ChatGPT, you can think of and do so much with it, and it also gives you a lot of educational information along the way I love it! really funny haha

and again what I do is just a hobby, nothing special haha but thank you for the enormous appreciation always, it is appreciated bud!

back to the liveries, I also have a subsidiary called ''LogiNex Distribution'' (BV Netherlands), the name already says what the company mainly does and that is distribution, logistics and intermodal transport mainly from road to rail <-> and then we transport most of the general cargo (pallets), frozen products and all that kind of stuff. I like the idea because I am a truck driver myself and sometimes I get to do this logistical work (to the railways) myself.

I am still in doubt about the color scheme, I first had the idea to go for sleek basic and then just go black with gray and light gray, very raw and businesslike color. but I also like that something pops with this deep red color..

1 I think is probably the prettiest but 2 the grey one seems hard to choose, the other 2 are ''mhe'' idk maybe you guys have a good opinion about this subject

Well for the use of etc then I have done some past research and some I get where the other side like CC license codes etc, these I don’t fully get. I may even complicate the information but there are T&Cs on the game and usually a general rule of.

If it’s been created then someone has the rights to that work or even placed it under license.
IF it’s is considered to be licensable that is. As shapes and colours cants be copyrighted yet a creative work can.
So that’s a Logo or a Brand even a TM.

There for if the creative work or the creator has work deemed as licensable then there will be certain rules of rights of use under that license.
So I could use LNER user their logo under the license rights of use, but if I want to alter the logo, then I would need permission.
It is always advised to get permission too from the owner of the work. As some work can not be considered copyrighted but is a TM which then comes with its own set of rules etc.

That’s my basic understanding of it all and why now because I don’t fully grasp the licensing codes etc or Creative Commons codes.
Then I have reached out to LNER, GBRTT, And GBRf so I have some reassurance that I am okay with what I was doing.
Altering work and Rail 200 logo. Meaning for me to feel safe that if it gets pulled by DTG or gets reported, well then have the evidence by the TOCs by the communications sent.

So this is why I slightly worry and hold of on my work due to not having permission or fully understanding what I can and can’t do without permission. It’s not that I don’t want to follow the rules but just can’t fully grasp them in the first place.
I struggle taking some information in. Where others I don’t like liveries so.

Might check it out to see what information it’s been given But out of interest the names it gives you are they new company names or not?.
My thinking is if the Ai providing these names but are they already in use?. I found this out when doing my own research for company names.
Nearly every one id think of was taken. Yet many companies have the same name but has no affiliation with each or any of them.
How do I get around the legal description side if it was to come to that.

With your livery then right away with the nature if your business I have something in mind.
But firstly I will ask this. What kinds of company is Loginex?. Is it a real sensible company or a fun natured company.
I think understanding how your company would feel for staff is what the brand would say about the company.
Looking at the name and logo then I’d say it’s a serious business and that’s that. No fancy design no fancy logos or special liveries for rail fans. It’s just Loginex Business as usual.

Reading on then if I have your permission to play around with this Loginex on a Class 47. You will see why if you give me the green light.
As if this links into your other hobby based on the Job you do then are you or can you use this brand for the Road Transportation side?.

A tight logo again with Rail to Road Distribution as a small slogan. It’s in my mind and ready to go all I need is your permission

But they look okay but I definitely feel like I have seen the theme in other firms. I visited many companies in my time.
So I am sure we can make this different and give it the feel you want.

I have to go but my last car previous owner was VolkerRail. It was a white pug 508 it had a crack in the front wheel and damage to the front suspension arms and that. Long story but it’s true but why would a EX volkerRail car be in Wolverhampton?.

and yes it's just handy mister ai and no the names are not in use and also the UIC numbers that I use are all original because I also use different combinations of country codes and the owner is fictitious. you can always check it yourself but there is no company called RAILNEX or DistriNex. and yes I changed the name because DistriNex Logistics BV sounds MUCH better to the Dutch and also more international but no DistriNex does not go overseas but more BENELUX/DE and I prefer to keep this Aspect to myself as a small company of RAILNEX that does operate independently that mainly does road transport that is why DistriNex rents wagons from RailNex. So RAILNEX is the owner but it gets the DistriNex logo because that is the company that organizes the cargo. So RAILNEX is only a rail carrier and DistriNex a distributor/transporter on the road of goods. it has like big warehouses transshipment places sheds and trucks that pick up cargo and take it somewhere else in the country where you can't get by rail I hope I explained it well enough XD so no DistriNex is NOT a rail carrier but it can certainly get its advertising on rolling stock and loc but they are managed by RAILNEX. and yes this name DistriNex with especially this color scheme could be seen on trucks and it is indeed just a serious company no fancy stuff haha.

for example I also look at other Habbiins and they are ALWAYS simple with a simple logo left or right and sometimes in the middle like ''TRANSWAGGON'' and they do it simply to save costs I think? very logical when you see what that actually produces for sticker work so I do indeed try to think like a company and I was certainly not done yet if I could skin (mod) in ETS2 I would have made a skin there a long time ago. so the theme is exactly how I want it mate

Shell and companies like that also rent tankers from VTG for example but can just get their own name and logo on them

Hey, can’t be long so. I’ll be quick for once.

For CC and what you see then I get that, I myself have work up so DTG haven’t been hard on me to be fair.
Only that one time with a Class 43 I did. I think it was blocked because I did this to the logo. The work you see got proper blocked. After 3 weeks work too. As as you can on the last shots I was putting all the correct route gauges etc.
So much detail and it was all for nothing. This is the only reason I worry. It hits me deeply and why I took a year off.

For how you explain your operating system then I perfectly understand logically and the transportation of good. The importance of storage of goods in and distribution from warehouses. A distributor. Then we have raw goods such as aggregates these need to be picked up by Rail as it’s the most efficient way over long distances. This all go to companies that then turn raw goods into products. Production.
These products then need to be shipped or distributed. This means a haulage firm. The haulage firm takes bulk products to smaller distributors and warehouse where then they go by van to the customer. Or End Market.

I spent a lot of time as a Transport planner for the coach industry and was not far from the Main Eddie Stobart Center in Warrington.
Me and mate was gonna go, but I stayed he went. And all I can say is I am glad I stayed.

Planning drivers hours and time critical goods. So fresh food. Loads on and off at various locations. So working out the tonnage on and off. Even get turned around if you miss a allocated time delivery slot. Which mean no drop no pickup. Drivers out of position etc.
I could do logistics fine but for the money I wasn’t prepared to deal with that much stress.

So I understand if you have this knowledge why not use it as a past time and hobby doing what you are and what I have been wanting to do but felt a little silly talking like a CEO. But hey I go about my work the same. If I have a fictional company then it must function as one for it to work as a fictional entity.

Ie when I did designing on a little project after engineering school. I was designing ships.
And it was here I felt comfortable most understanding all the complexity of what he was saying.
So I listened, and it was one thing I remember him saying. He said if it looks right then it probably is.

This was in relation to the balance of a ships not only in its looks but how ships act in water. So low waterline, yet high superstructure means it’s unstable. The QM2 has all its superstructure made of aluminium to avoid being unstable in high seas. It’s Hull is designed for the deep oceans not calm waters of the Mediterranean. And why Cruise Ships don’t fare well in rough seas. It sits low in the water and it’s Bow is designed for calmer seas and for looks.

So yes a little waffle there but I fully understand what your doing and absolutely love that you have so much passion for your hobby.
I do to and so I take everything that have learnt onboard and why I may go about my work like a Job because running a company is a Job

We’re CEOs my friend and can do what the the mind creates for what we want to see.
And so when and only when something looks right can we see what we envisioned as right can we say we have a finished product ready for market CC, or for business. Play role as CEOs.

Hey I was nearly done with this one so wasn’t going to show you.
But this what I have come up with, just wondering whether to add a kinda of ballon’s celebration theme.
I was running short on decals too so can’t really go OTT on the mottos etc.

Also I thought adding like some kinda of authority to over see Dutch logistics then I made up a little logo to fill the space where is has been placed. DELA Dutch Environmental Logistics Authority. I think I will be adding a sustainable theme due to environmental concerns.
So I thought of adding environmental responsibility to my company future direction and so due to us being company partners I thought I’d make you a little logo and authority to add to the realism of a real world concern.

Anyway I am still busy at home so gotta go mate.
Let’s me know if you’re unsure of anything on this livery.

I want it to be right and just not happy with side A. Side A. I think lol……..

A separate issue, but this problem on the One 66 is causing some issues for me on the above livery.

It’s so annoying so again please DTG, can you investigate this or give me some money back for a faulty product.
Come on DTG please fix this. It’s slowing me down and I am a busy man.

Issues and no need to explain as it quite self explanatory. Already had to use the same colour on the side over the headlights. But as you can see, the green ballon is now over the grey on the lamp.
You can even notice the 3 circles faintly. I can’t have a livery with 3 circles on it. I won’t.

There is a similar issue and a major one in fact on one of the rear carriages on the 801.
I’m sure this must annoy others as it does me. So again if any DTG members are doing their rounds then please please act on this matter.

Not just for me but for other hardworking livery creators that help you add appeal to loco DLCs.
So come on DTG help us out here.

And on that note I think it’s time I go.

Please tho DTG fix this issue and others with models in livery designer.

Decided to brake the timeline a bit and have 66072 ‘The Scotsmans Guardsman’ (I think that’s the name) in 1986 with a brilliant run on WCMLOS where I towed a ‘failed’ 60103. Unlike the Blackpool Charter where I only had 2 photos, I have 5 photos

For the name and logo or DELA then I just thought of it to fill that space. Did no research so is probably why I’m using a similar name to others. It’s Good to see the Dutch having bodies dealing with environmental issues. But seriously it’s was just a quick fix really.

I’m glad you approve and hopefully this will be done later. Just one last big push at home.
I can focus on the other liveries and the state of the R200 Project then.

It good your doing clean and weathered versions. Have you not thought about have a used version before a weathered one.
I tell you why I added a 3 category. I found that a unit can look rough but it’s still in operation.
Yet when I came to doing a really run down abandoned look then the used look and abandoned look have the same title. Weathered.
So I thought why not add a used category so we can still have the livery look dirty and worn by using less decals.
And it’s helps me treat each Job differently.

What that means is weathering is a job in itself. I will complete the livery or even build in weathering as I go. I will always leave around 2 or 3 days to do the abandoned look. But if it’s a new unit then it will just be dirty as it’s in operational condition, thus adding a little bit of realism while saving time and decals. So a high decal livery can be still weathered but not so intensely that it uses up loads of decals to try get a weathered look. You can have a used look while adding some extra effects saving decals and time.

I know your doing weathering and was part of our first conversations. So I am not sure if you have all the Mastery Decals for getting a high amount of weathering decals. Again I wanted these from day one, and I did with a few but I wasn’t able to change the colours back then.
But I wanted them because I just wasn’t happy with the gradient decal or fade. I can build up to create different areas of weathering with the MR decals but this can take up high amounts of decals. So again I do a used version so I can have slight build up of dirty without relying too heavily upon the gradient decal of fade.

Also I notice that during the summer less dirt on units. Plus the age of newer units reflect their condition.
So summer and a new generation loco would be in good shape. Clean or light used condition.
Yet in the winter they get very dirty, add the era or age or operational state will change how the whole livery appears.
Beaten and battered and not very well maintained. This is something I consider with later Steam locos in the last days of Steam.

They wasn’t loved and so was in a very dilapidated condition near the end. Yet in the early 1900s then they was looked after by crews and maintenance sheds. Hence I’d make them all clean and new.
Quick refs. New state due to it era.
And then dirty and old due to the being placed in the late 50s to the 60s and when steam finally ended. 1965 to 1968.
I have been meaning to do a loco in condition seen at Barry’s Scrap Yards and storage Yards. Just not has the time as per.

So as you can see I treat weathering as a whole way of adding more or taking away to fit the needs of the livery and to be able to add different types of themes across all ages of steam or diesel traction of the 60s to the newer cleaner units of today.

The networks are more clean now due to cleaner units in operation, so again the units and stock will reflect this. And when it gets into the winter months then it’s get more dirty. Why I will try do used or clean in the summer and dirty or heavily used or weathered in the winter.
It can add variation across photos too.

Okay well a little bit of Sunday reading for you. You may feel how I go about approaching weathering OTT but it’s a real world scenario and so if it real I must apply those realistic effects on livery’s.

Hey what a great surprise again absolutely beautiful pictures mate.

For reference then 60 103 has been done in two versions. One with no warning OHLE stickers and one modern one with.
This is so a user can place either livery in different eras. Now if this is something you like to do or have any suggestions of what I could possibly add, then please let me now. I’d rather make something that someone would have a use for than waste time on things people don’t want.
I do a mixture of themes and work as I believe we have liveries for what we have seen for real, but what about the things we haven’t seen, or would like to have seen. Different themes for different or unique scenarios. Why do they always have to be long drawn out situations.

I feels that is fine for users that want that side of things yet where is the odd way or different way of liveries or scenarios.
The Fun simple side of scenarios.

So yes a slight waffle there. Sorry.

It’s sad to wave good bye, but we have pride when we see others enjoy the work we do.
And that’s what makes all the graft worthwhile

hahah okay I'm curious what you make of it mate

and yes really weathered looks can be on wagons but not the locos because you don't have that on such modern locos which are always well maintained. but they can indeed be very dirty and as you say in the winter much worse. but weathered looks like you make are really next level mate and I certainly don't have all the master decals because I don't have all the DLC either, I have a few scratches and stains and splatters with which you can make crazy blood stains hahaha :P lol

but that's something else.. I currently have this problem.. the decal of the bottom projects onto the door of the loco it's a bug and so unfortunate.. that kind of holds me back from making a 187 unless the whole thing has to be the same color.

that's why I continued with realistic companies again and let me show you this new WASCOSA Shimmns Wagon. I'm still working on the ArcelorMittal Logo, the letters still look very goofy XD

I also want to make a nice series of this like the blue with orange too. but there's already so much on the planning XD I'm going to run out of time

Shame to hear about missing some Mastery Decals due to not owing all DLCs. I have quite a lot to be fair and didn’t realise until doing the pictures of what I own. I’ve been with the franchise since TSW2020 ya see, so gained a lot of different Decals.
I collected so many because of how the grading decal would look like out in the open. It’s a little better in the newer titles as it smooths its self out from a distance, but soon as you come closer then you will see blurring or light shaded stripes.

So its why I have ended up treating weathering the way I do.It’s Job in itself really.
And hey it happens in real life so,,,,blood
A little core if core is ya thing. I added it due to real world situations as unfortunately animals are in the wrong place at the wrong time.
And so it tickles me up to say we both see the use of splatter decals as not for paint effects but for other purposes lol.
Maybe at Halloween we could put these splatter decals to good use

Man are you kidding me another defect on a model?. Why? Just Why?. Can DTG not understand that some seek perfection and having an issue like what I have incurred recently and in the past, even TG08 who is more than aware of these deficiencies and now you is very very frustrating. If your like me meaning if a model has a defect like the class 66 One/DRS loco pack or one you have here put me off and I can lose passion for that unit or model It’s a niggle that can eat away at ones drive to enjoy the work.

Hence its not fun nor enjoyable to see a hard work ruined because of something we are seeing so much of.
To be fair tho when I have raised this issue directly they gave me a free DLC of my choice. And would be passed onto the teams.
Yet I haven’t got any of the defective stuff fixed 2 or 3 years later. So seeing your having the same issues with what I and other have encountered then does raising a ticket work? I’d say no if nothing has been fixed.
Meaning what options do we have left?. Shouting DTG out on here?. I’ve done that a few time but not once do I hear anything.
So if they don’t work could I get my sons friend to start working on a YT channel. I know and have spoken to a leading YT’er as we are friends on PSN. He too has spoken and raised issues about the game in the past, but I don’t think he gets any thanks for it.

Here and from my own past experiences feel if we say anything negative about DTG that users life becomes ten times harder.
Work being blocked and just ignored when having a DM with a staff member. So I call them out as I could go on the relevant threads etc but it would only get lost amongst all the other grievances.
So yes I feel your frustration and why I begged DTG recently to notice the callout. Obviously they haven’t noticed so do I risk shouting louder to get noticed by getting someone to do a one off video on the poor quality of some DTG products.
A YT channel doing a review or raise another ticket?. But here again why waste my time as I am pretty sure I am not the only one in the space of time these issues have existed to raise a ticket. Did it get me anywhere and did it get others anywhere, clearly the answer is no if the problems still exist.

I will kindly ask DTG to see your issues and my issues as with all other similar issues effecting a wider user base.
Please Please fix DTG.
