Well, the signaling on that route can sometimes allow trains to get close to one in front of it. When the cab speed drops to 15 (restricting) you have to obey that. There are “invisible signals” that can’t enforce a stop.
So when you came up to the train in front did you think if you sounded your horn it would move out of your way?
