Hello together, I am currently trying to build a new timetable for RRO, but if I use "Load and unload", I do not know where I specify where this is, so which station, etc. . Can someone help me there?
So you don't specify where it is as you would be sat in the station when this instruction is called. To outline you would have your GoTo (This is telling the player where to go, Station for example), Then your Load and Unload (This would tell the player to open the doors and start the process). Only the GoTo node specifies the location if that makes sense.
So this is one of my load and unload instructions. If your doors aren't opening I would check if you can something not set correct.
So you can't enter or leave them but for AI Service you do a GoTo instruction and pick location and click on the portal. It will show something like below to outline it's a portal and either entering so leaving the map or leaving so entering onto the map.
Ah okay and If I want to start a service for AI in portal and the player can take at the next station?
Can you show your load and unload instruction as it will better so see if something is missing please.
You would do this, You obvs would need to do a GoTo instruction after the portal one and then you would either end the AI service or have the box ticked for Player Drivable and it might let player take it over.
from left to right, I have my formation node, then my start service node, then my GoTo node for portal and then a normal GoTo node. And then at end of the service I have a pink node for end service. If it's a red start service node. That means it is player drivable.
so that is a dependency which will prevent one service from continuing from a certain instructed until another linked instruction has been completed.
So check what you have set for the below. If you have set a start time so left Create after delay unticked the AI won't take over that service until starts time. If you tick the Create after delay the AI will start service as soon as the Min Dwell Time is elasped. Reason I say this is because if that option is unticked and start time is left at 00:00:00 the AI may never start the service.
Do you know how I can program of map destinations in for PIS? They are listed on the route defination
If I understood you correctly, the GoTo nodes will form part of the PIS stops and ultimate destination. You can if needed on the last GoTo node add virtual destination if you want it to appear on PIS additional stops to look more realistic. Obvs the AI won't stop or drive to the virtual ones. Clue is in the name for them. I will be honest though I wouldn't know why your service isn't showing on PIS screens on stations as this is preset to show on PIS screens etc.
Again check the setting for the unload and load, have you set it to complete by a certain time or just told it to to the action for a set min duration.
Yeah that was the fault. I Had to create a News Routedestination list and Route declaration for the virtual stops
Regarding doors not opening/closing. Make sure that you've set your Go To Condition to Within for your Go Via/Stop At instruction. Whilst the video is 4 years old, it's still very relevant, as only small things have moved or there's slightly different ways of doing things in the current version of the editor. Please do watch and keep this video to hand as it's a fantastic scenario creation resource. I've set the video to start at the time Matt adds his first Go via/stop at instruction. The forums keeps embedding the video link so just go to 23:14 on the video below Video from the beginning:
Do I have to do the timtable as plugin because I cant copy the route definition or my created timetable in the folder?
I would say do it in your own plugin. If the editor pulls a fresh read of the pak file you may lose what you put in there.
I open the console command box and type - ts2.dbg.SetLocalDateTime 2023.08.08-05.45.00 then enter Obviously change date and time to what you want.
Ah okay. I got one formation that goes back the way after some time but at the time it does not spawn because its after the time the formation was created. Can I change that, so that the trains spawn on the tracks if I enter after spawn time? Or do I have to create a new formation for every train?
Bit confused what your asking sorry. You can spawn the formation on the track if needed on the formation node. You just don't have spawn in vault ticked.
I mean, I drive a formation from Hagen to Wuppertal and there into the portal and then out of the portal back to Hagen. However, if I am in Wuppertal at that time (on the return trip) then the train will not spawn in the editor, because it should be spawned in Hagen before 1 hour. But I have the time to return. does the in-game still work or do I have to create a new formation for each service? and spawn the ingame then also on the track so if I play 9:40 and the train should have left at 9:20 in Hagen, that the then for example in Ennepetal so spawns on the track and comes towards me?
Not sure then, maybe try have the new service go to the portal it entered and to the portal it needs to leave and then onto its first stop. Normally for me a service not appearing from a.portal is either node settings not right or the pathing somewhere isn't correct.
Can anyone tell me how to view the Editor Route Map as Matt does in his 2019 Editor Preview Stream. I easily found the main 3D map for Leeds Manchester but cant find out how to display the 2D map in order to select a start location for my attempt at creating a Scenario. Edit: Ok, found it on the tool bar. It was clearly too easy and obvious for me. I was expecting to find it somewhere in the route content window.
Thats not problem haha Its like this the service from 00:07 did not drive because I spawned in at 5:50. Thats my problem
okay so on your start service node there is a Create after delay tick box. Ticking it will start the service after the min dwell time regardless of the time
