I've mainly driven british stuff since i started with TS14, Lets just say I have started to get a bit bored of it.

So. I am looking to get into the German/Austrian (PZB signalling stuff) Scene. Got my head around the signalling but want to know what are some Must haves for these areas.

Personally I like Hamburg - Hanover - loads of scenarios available for the line
    https://store.steampowered.com/app/222588/Train_Simulator_HamburgHanover_Route_AddOn

Munich - Garmisch is a good route with a mix of single and double track and some gradients to challenge you.

Berlin - Leipzig is another good route with a mix of services
    https://store.steampowered.com/app/376943/Train_Simulator_Berlin__Leipzig_Route_AddOn/
Ignore Berlin - Wittenberg as that is a shorter version of the Leipzig route

And the BR101 in the Steam Pro-line is made by Virtual Railroads and worth getting.

I would Not get any of these

Thanks for that Peter. Will defs get the 101. I already have Hamburg, Munich and Berlin routes. Probs got them from various TS Iterations and Humble Bundles
Will look into those as well.

Are the RSSLO routes any good. Seem to see mixed opinions on some of them

I mean if you also have this route - you can get a merged route on steam workshop :) the https://store.steampowered.com/app/...GarmischPartenkirchen__Innsbruck_Route_AddOn/

I like the RSSLO routes as they cover areas not covered by DTG - their newer routes are better.

Kim Olesen does RealDrives for some of the RSSLO Routes and it turns a simple quick drive in to a proper run.

They have a different art style to DTG so visually feel a bit different. Close to the track they maybe don't feel quite so realistic, but I think the middle to long distance views can look more realistic. You always get a lot of route for your money. Some cover unique territories such as Slovenia.

I've got quite a lot of their routes and I think they have a quirky charm.

I would start with Arlbergbahn: Innsbruck - Bludenz. It's an earlier route, but interesting to drive with a fast double track run up the Inn valley then a slower single track through the mountains.

Koblenz - Trier (Eiffel route) is also an amazing route; one of the best looking ones next to Konstanz - Villingen and Berlin - Leipzig.

Includes a main line electrified route through hills of the Eiffel valley and a diesel branche line.

Limited functionality (vR) rolling stock is included.
