Game Update Train Sim World 2 - Add-ons Manager Is Here

You can go a little over 64GB as the base game isn't considered DLC. I think I've gone to around 68.

 

That's only the training centre

 

Because it is a Sony rule not DTG. There are no limits on Xbox or PC. But for some stupid reason Sony has told all developers there cannot be more than 64GB of Dlc on at one time. So DTG have figured out a way around this. Basically instead of loading all ypur DLC at once as it did prior it only loads what is required for that route. For example if you are running a US route no UK or German trains would be needed so the game won't load them.

Thats the loophole they found.

So it has nothing to do with DTG its all a Sony issue. "Play without limits" my butt.

 

Steam version went out on Friday I think, but console versions got caught up a bit longer in certification.

 

I definitely got a load of Updates late on Friday. Looks like it didn’t include Diesel Legends though. Happy to be blasting up and down the mainline in 47s and 52’s again.

Any update on if "off the rails" is fixed now post latest patch for tsw2 for add ons manager?

 

DTG JD Any updates, off the rails is a core feature of tsw2, are the devs even aware the add ons manager broke this feature?

 

A question about that. Is it possible to move individual dlcs to an external hard drive instead of deleting them? That would save the very slow download in my case.

So you could just "quickly" install a dlc from an external hard drive if needed?

 

On XBox this is as easy as going into "manage game" and choosing to move individual DLCs to the drive of your choice for storage. I assume PS has a similar file management system, right?


I similarly save on download times by keeping all my games installed on one of my XBoxes and copying them directly over my gigabit lan when I want to install them on another.

 

Sadly not doable on PlayStation.

 

When is the Adam manager train Sim World 3

 

No Adam manager at the moment but there’s the Add on manager under working for TSW3

 

Although an Adam manager would be a great mod for Bioshock.

 

I occasionally revisit it for fun.

 

Same result for me. I have removed the BR heavy pack from my DLC and legends works fine. I also noticed when looking through the scenario planner that there was a loco labelled NO_Name RVD, and when selected contained the locos from the BR heavy pack.

 

Any news on when the Train Sim World 3 update be released from the blog post on the 15th September?
