    1) The NEC is not very fast at all, yes there's part which gets up to a decent speed by US standards but globally it's not fast at all.
    2) the route is too darn long 10 times over.
3)The Avelia is ugly ugly ugly.

Other than the above sound suggestion.

Yeah there’s no way they’re gonna do all 457 miles of the NEC. They’ve already done Boston-Providence. I would love to see another portion of the NEC though

Japanese Bullet trains are aerodynamic and none are that ugly, I mean some arent exactly an oil painting but they aren't Avelia ugly.

Then you've the TGVs which are anything but ugly and runs at Speeds the Avelia can only dream of.

It is possible to have beautiful high speed aerodynamic trains, especially when you're only running at speeds at upto 160 mph

For the Avelia Max speed is actually the same as TGV from LGV when tilt is disabled because Avelia was designed for the Next Generation NEC Line 350 kmh 220 mph max speed. Current TSW 2 nec 240 kmh (150 mph) max speed with Upgrades 260 kmh (160 mph) max speed

How about New Haven Providence 113 mi or Newark, NJ to New Haven, CT 84 mi 135 km.
If made then it can tie Hollandstrecke Duisburg Oberhausen Utrecht via Arnhem if both are made due to them being 135 km 84 mi surpassing Sherman Hill 76mi (122 km) Same length German route is Berlin Elsterwerda by 13 km 8 mi

Eh no farther than New London. New London-NH is really slow. Would still much prefer New York-Philadelphia

Some Shinkansens don’t really look that great. But yeah the TGV trains are easily some of the best looking high speed trains out there. The ICE3 is also great. Would much prefer DTG doing the original Acela as that is a thing of beauty. Also has WAY better sounds. The Avelia’s traction motors are just dollar store versions of the electrostars, and the horn is just horrendous.

If made Avelia Liberty has the bad horns followed by 387/2 BML GWML London Paddington 375 SEHS 377/1 377/4 BML & ECW electrostar Traction Motor made for dollar store (DTG Poundland UK $1 gets you 40-99 pence p) with a Body Shell of SNCF Avelia Horizon and the last part the tilt of DB BR612.
Regarding Acela Express it's being mentioned as part of Rush Hour train Bundle with ICE-T BML Class 700 how the forums wanted it.

The Horn may be terrible but thats is because the Avelia series is actually built to operate in EU and not the USA
    Except the liberty

So you've destroyed your own arguement there. It's the same max speed as TGV but the claim it has to be ugly for aerodynamics? Even when the TGV is stunning and the Avelia pig ugly.

correct but when the tilt is activated 300 kmh (185 mph) is reached on the scenario planner you will not derail when running at 300 kmh

    300 km/h wow

    TGV100 top speed in 1981 was 360km/h

Avelia liberty is not fast by today's standards.
