Can’t wait to see the preview for this, it’s also refreshing to a train interior not completely sterile and lit up like a hospital corridor. Also, the title makes this sound like a rolling stock article, and not a route release date.
You know, as an American, I was focused on Harlem, but now I'm thinking maybe Lucerne and wait on the Metro North route.
How creative rivets found a way to deal with a too fast accelerating locomotive issue,by adding a fast accelerating locomotive. With are luck this one will probably crawl out of stations like a snail. We just can't win,but at least it looks good.
Judging by the second video attached to the article, its launch is quite realistic (and smooth, with no Ge 4/4 lurch)
In real, those flirts have a very impressive acceleration. The way the preview pictures are looking i definetly get this route.
What about the realistic track sound? Does anyone know if River going to add realistic track and junction track sound?
With these one train only routes, you really need a above average train to help sell it(I'm not sure this one in that category). Why rivets couldn't have added a freight option is beyond me.this is a new county so theres room for some swiss freight trains.
Since there is no freight on the route why would they add it, there are only passenger trains on the route and mainly (or only not sure) those Flirts
Looks really nice, and I'm excited about driving a standard gauge route in a "non-big 3" country. ECTS sounds interesting as well. My wallet is hurting with this, Harlem, and presumably Horseshoe Curve coming up soon lol.
Is there a potential of having a loco dlc to thus route or is this the only loco that runs this line in real life?
I can probably see this serve as a basis for the Red Deutsche Bahn version DB BR429 new style is DB BR1429. there are multiple variants of Rabe 523 these are France Capable Rabe 522 Germany Austria PZB Capable variant Rabe 521
When I come across such discussions, I wish that everyone creating routes would have access to all locos, no matter if DTG or third party. We could have so many more shunting action in germany if we had the 204 in DTGs hands, just look at how generously they throw around the 363. If everyone would have access to legally use the Rabe, I'm sure on the next DTG route we would see it on the timetable.
