Good lord, that Vectron is just sexy.

 

That picture with the Scotsman and Azuma is a top quality pic.

 

Absolute stunning picture! The photomode is a dream to play with! But that photo... WOW!

 

All of the screenshots are good but this one is just incredible.

Same happened to me. If it wasn’t for that weird texture on Scotsman’s buffers, I’d have a really hard time figuring out whether it’s real or not

 

looks like the generic look of a model when no texture is applied, I’m quite surprised they let that get shown on promotional marketing.

though in honesty that picture would have been hard to not allow

You know what, I checked a picture I took and you’re totally right. Never noticed that before.

 

Just watched a few minutes of the stream and really impressed with the Vectron. At last we have a pleasant sounding freight loco that doesn’t screech and sing like the Traxx. Can see myself enjoying this one immensely and come next Thursday really is becoming hard to know where to head first with the new content.

 

Looking at those pics I'm going to be spending a lot of time in photo mode, loving the moody final pic from Just Trains.

 

The Vectron looks and sounds amazing, really looking forward to it.
DTG Matt has the 185.5 on Dresden-Riesa been updated to match the new features and sounds of the 185 from Kassel-Würzburg? I would really hate to have another situation where each has different desirable features and only one has the new rain whilst the other has the new sounds.

 

I have to say I am impressed with the work that has gone into the sound production and end result on the Vectron.

I don't think I can go back driving a Traxx in game anymore.

 

Something that seems inaccurate but actually turns out true is way better than something that seems true but turns out inaccurate. Keep doing what you’re doing

That being said, when I compare the buffers in TSW to the real pictures, it looks to me like TSW’s are missing some texture/roughness. They look a bit too smooth and plastic-y. Maybe that’s just me though or some odd lighting in the screenshots.

 

I was confused also but after check some pictures I noticed that it was real... Funny thing!

I though these were not correctly implemented textures and still work in progress but why is it like that IRL, it really pushes forward the fact that we live in a simulation lmao

 

by the way I believe the Vectron is the only loco I'm gonna touch after release, no other one gets near me anymore!

407 is better to me for some reason, and well, if there's ever going to be one in TSW I'll definetly use that aswell (and it's a multiple unit and I of course still like the ICE 3 it's just the only LOCO I'll use then )

Unless I'm mistaken -- ever a possibility, whoever was driving the Vectron never sat in the driver's seat -- which doesn't strike me as a possibility.
Although I haven't watched any of them all the way through, these teasers for TSW4 are making it difficult to avoid drooling on my keyboard.

 

They got full access to the vectron including sitting down. Drooling, are you drooling because it looks so good or because you're bored of it

does the photomode camera collide with trains? because how else did the third image (Vectron cab) get shot?

I meant that nearly every time there was an in-cab image it seemed to be coming from a standing position, looking over the driver's seat, rather than from a seated position.

 

Let’s hope the modelled features live up to the hype and the quality of the vectron

 

Are there any plans in the (very near) future to include as a font, proper DIN 1451 Bahnschrift? You can't do German stuff without it, and I'm tired of constructing each letter and numeral from scratch even for brake ratings and the like.

 

are the numbering made with Bahnschrift? well yeah makes sense, DB's font family is mainly formed of DB Head and DB Sans, which I know is a different thing, not for the class numbering and all that at the bottom part of the vehicle

DB does own the entire DB Type font family but Bahnschrift is something else, so I believe you could add it in the future if you get the yes for that.

(DB specifically uses 1451 Engschrift, condensed type)

By the way... I would like to know, where the pictures taken with the new Photo Mode, are stored?
I am on PS4.
They do not go to the Picture Gallery as before with the traditional picture mode.
