What is the latest news on the GWE Remastering ?
When can we expect the next major update patch for TSW5 ?

Can you reserve just 2 minutes to tell us if there's some good news about the editor problems?
Like crash when laying track and the upcoming patch announced with TSW5?

 

As MBTA Commuter was the next route due in the August roadmap, what confirmation can you give on layers (particularly around South Station and Back Bay) and route hopping options?

How close are Just Trains to bring ready to release Preston-Carlisle?

Any progress on regaining the LNWR license for WCML? How does this affect the WMR license from BCC as they are both effectively the same company? Could this affect being able to introduce the Class 730 to WCML and BCC or a possible remaster of BCC?

Also what to expect from future updates for the TSW5 core routes would be great.

 

What are the biggest priorities for the team moving forward after TSW5's release?

And has there been any feedback that is new to your team that you are investigating?

 

• Are there any updates or information on when we will be able to use formations from creator's club? (They don't show up anywhere and can't be used at the moment)

• Will there be a boxed PC version of TSW 5, or is it only for consoles?

1. Are there going to be large core updates like last time (e.g. winter core update) or are there gonna be updates whenever you can get them out?

2. (Regarding trains sounds) If the team isn’t able to get runnings sounds for a train on scheduled recording trips could they not just record them whilst they’re out on the railway? is licensing? Besides other developers and occasionally going to community members is synthesising sounds the only other option?

1. Would it be more fixes and improvements for WCML:S like fix PIS and add suspension for 350?
2. Can we expect post-release patches for San Bernardino line?
3. Would we see Amtrak layers (ACS-64 and Acela) in MBTA Framingham/Worcester line?
4. More infos about GWE remaster, and do you still have license from GWR?
5. Would you fix the bug that cause some services ( ECS services on CCL 2024) and training modules unable to get Platinum?
6. Can we expect large core updates?

 

- When will navigating MFD screens finally work as advertised on consoles? At this time it works if it's a screen with fysical buttons on the sides. But when it's a real touch-screen the player can still not select anything on the screen. At least on PS5, don't know about the other consoles
- When will the broken safety systems on the M3 on LIRR 1.0 be fixed?
- When will the door-bug on the dosto's be fixed?
- Haven't played HMA on TSW5 yet, but I trust that the signalling/PZB-mess that it was in TSW4, is still present. Is that being looked into?

 

Are there plans to fix the dodgy scenery and TFL branding on the Lioness line?

 

Are Rivet going to do anything with Fife Circle, other than add in the Leven extension (and no doubt make a mess of the scenery on that too).

Also any word on "disappearing" passengers on services - doesn't seem to be specific to any route ?

Is there going to be a update on the San Bernardino line bnsf freight services layers on the weekend

 

Since there is no new austrian content on the roadmap. does this mean the planned recording trip at ÖBB to fix the 4024 sounds has been indefinetely postponed? I recall the want to fix it from DTG was as soon as possible but the depots were still in lockdown mode. I feel like after a full year some opportunity must've arisen. and if not. what is the status on that now? Is Austria dropped as a whole? or are the already announced projects more worth the time.

Seems perfectly natural, therefore, to do just that I'd say.

 

Will the popping Xbox audio be fixed?

 

When using Free Roam on the PS5, the map often locks, making Free Roam unplayable. Are DTG aware of this and are they able to fix it.

 

Can we get 'PZB Acknowledge' mapped to a controller button?

 

Long shot here- been a while since we’ve heard absolutely anything about steam. Are there any third party teams looking into them?

 

what rolling stock will get the new suspension feature in the near future and on which routes will it be supported (especially the 350 and 170 class)?

Can we expect Rivet and Skyhook to implement the suspension feature on their early rolling stock in the near future?

 

What progress has been made on WCML on Next Gen consoles when it comes to performance issues. For example, the freezing, crashing and stuttering in which people have reported, including me. Also, what can we expect going forward when it comes to optimisation and fixing performance?

Would DTG look into any future expansions such for the WCML or any new add-on's that could enhance the line such as the 730 or the voyager?

 

Will any older routes like Tees Valley Line, Northern Trans-Pennine or CN Oakville Subdivision ever be reworked and brought upto date like the GWE is being done at present ?

 

Now we can enable and disable layers, can DTG look into allowing us to enable and disable creators club liveries being used for AI please? Perhaps even per route (for example allow GWE 800 livery (on 801) to be used on GWE but not ECML. Thanks

You mentioned that you would look into implementing guard mode across TSW5 trains that don't currently have properly working guard mode. Would it be prototypical for the BR DB 411 T to ever get guard mode please? I was having a wonder around but couldn't see a guard door panel so was unsure. Thanks

It's already been in the forum. I'm asking DTG Matt if that feature would now be feasible given the layers control feature. I like the detailed insights he gives on the roadmap stream into technical things like this.

 

Do you plan on using Rivet for future routes?

 

Can we have an update on the loading of tunnel tiles to prevent light being visible at the end when it is not actually the end of the tunnel please DTG Matt

2，Add a unit for track gradient is per milli.

1. Accessibility - some controls have no keyboard key(s) allocation (and presumably no controller button mapped either) - is it possible to make sure all controls at least have an equivalent keyboard command?

2. Control API - this has been talked about since TSW2, Matt mentioned in a recent TSW5 stream that it is more or less complete ('just needs testing and documentation') - can we expect something to try soon?

 

Can we have the option to fully rebind controller controls? I would like to use the Japanese style of train sim controller controls.

 

I have another question, after the editor problems: on which PC's you tested the route? I'm glad to know if you experience our problem with low FPS or not

 

Have you reflected on the launch of TSW5 and thought seriously about “how we can make this better?” If it continues to be a yearly release.

 

Any progress on save game bugs? TSW 5 seems to have reintroduced some old bugs.

Any future updates to dynamic weather? More starting weather options, likelihood of sever storms decreased?

 

Will we get a proper WCML South timetable?

 

Is there any update from High Iron on the Santa Fe pack?

 

I'd like to know why the July roadmap showed what we now know to be the TSW5 content in the 4-6 months category. Was that a deliberate sleight of hand to make people think there wouldn't be a TSW5 in September (and if so, how can we ever trust what DTG says on timings)? Or was the release date moved up after the July roadmap (and if so, why, given how clearly rushed and unfinished WCMLS is)?

 

Not only in terms of crashes on Gen8, Xbox Series X/S is constantly crashing as well. What is planned to solve this? And can Series S players expect to get at least an layer with the BR 101 or the ICE3 at the Kinzigtalbahn after optimisation?

 

What kind of optimization work is being done? Are you really optimizing the game or are you just cutting down some graphics and amount of AI in timetable?

 

When are you going to fix the progression bug on the Vorarlberg International Rescue scenario on TSW4 - PS5?

It's preventing a Trophy/Achievement unlock.
