If a class 442 was released I think I’d cry with happiness tbh

 

I wonder what ' limited access to core features 'means regarding the free starter edition.

 

It means;if you don't already own some dlc, you'll be restricted to the test centre.

 

Bit underwhelmed with the Wharfe/Airedale route, even more disappointing that Neville Hill will feature but no 91s.

 

The reverser is locked I believe.

New Core features often only apply to new routes. So if you only get the free starter pack chances are any older routes will be in the mostly same state as they are currently

 

If they restricted the features,folk just going for the free upgrade would be left hanging.
Glad we've got a modern day Leeds.Fingers crossed it's a full timetable.
Only play the UK routes now after getting stung with the released unfinished NY to Stamford.

They said it would be everything it could be, it won't because we still don't have any Northern DMU's in game, they could've or rather should've included the Class 333 with the route and made something like the Class 156 or Class 150/0 for deluxe for services to diesel only teritory, typical DTG missing good opportunites. Don't even get me started with the 66 being reused AGAIN with no alterations, the new limestone wagon is a good part but why are DTG so allergic to making a Class 66 with different headlights, or a removed buckeye coupler.

If you're more than underwhelmed, you're not the only one.

 

Really expected the 91 this time round; it's still the best express train in the UK.
Hopefully one of the 3rd parties will take up the challenge for us.

As for the new routes, I find Nürnberg - Würzburg an uninspired choice, more of the same.
Let's hope performance is actually improved across the board, and not just for top hardware, as stuttering and low FPS is the thing which annoys me most about TSW!

 

Interesting point. Are they pushing us into buying the Deluxe or at least Regional Standard version to get these? Or does it simply mean the new features will only be available starting with the three new routes?

 

Is there any point in getting the class 333? From Googling, it appears to be just an earlier version of the 331. Is it much different?

 

Ok finally, the NTP is getting remastered, we're getting a second Dutch route, and getting a route out of London Kings Cross, I'm not really interested in these other new announcments.

However I can't be the only one that has noticed they not saying where they're ending the route coverage or if the Hertford loop is being included.

 

I didnt see any mention of console issues being fixed or in progress.

Had to chuckle that the ATS Kings Cross announcement didn't say how far it would go . Hopefully not another missed opportunity like with not going to Crewe from Manchester.

 

ATS are working on a King’s Cross route. Given they’ve recently released the Class 90 (albeit with problems)….there is real hope!

 

The 466 and the Sheerness branch sounds nice. Hopefully the 466 will layer as additional stock on SEHS.

AI conductor is nice.
But overall, really underwhelming route wise

You’d think they would have said so though… every other route had a start and end point. They either haven’t decided or are too ashamed to admit the half route on Dovetail Direct.
Obviously the last thing we want is a half length route which stops a future developer from doing the full length.

 

I wasn't expecting anymore GWR routes for a long while. I'm so happy about Newquay Branch. Should be good... Hopefully

 

I thought the blurry textures was one of the issues high up on their list to fix.We will have to see what its like when its released.

Sort of nice for me that I've not only got my local route to where I live now (Manchester Commuter), but also soon to have one to my hometown (Cumbrian Coast) to go alongside Preston-Carlisle representing an area I spent a lot of my childhood - and the Airedale & Wharfedale route will include where my brother and nephews live.

Though as someone who only has interest in the UK routes, I am wondering how much it'll cost to get the full experience of the route without buying the Deluxe edition that'll feature two routes I won't bother with.

 

i hope it gets allot of ai layers for the new koln aachen timetable bc koln is usually packed with ice 4

Little bit underwhelming for me personally. Missed opportunity to link up Doncaster and Leeds. Some interesting new features. I feel Airedale and Wharfdale will end up being like Manchester - Hadfield and no one will touch Yorkshire for the next year or two atleast. The Class 158 is an interesting announcement. Maybe some hope for a Settle line, Leeds - Sheffield or Leeds - Manchester Victoria for it to proper stretch its legs. I’m not sure how I feel about ATS doing what I assume to be Kings Cross to Peterborough, or knowing them, they’ll do something daft like Stevenage instead going off previous precedent. Here’s to hoping they bring in a Class 91 which isn’t a pile of rubbish like the class 90. Railjet sounds awesome, some of the German routes sound really good.

 

It depends, cause I think before the year 2021, many ICE 4 services today were ICE 3 services. And I don't know if SKA is set before 221

 

So on the Social channels the ATS route is being listed as ECML South (the Direct just said ECML Kings Cross), but depending on what it ends up being, it might be the only thing I'm really interested in, especially if it ends up with a Class 91. I can't say the rest of the UK stuff is of that much interest to me personally so far, but hopefully future releases will change that.

 

So, nothing at all about the class 70.

Has that been delayed?
