Game Update Train Sim World 7 Update Notes – September 16th, 2026

Hello everyone,

Today we have a small patch going live across all platforms that re-enables our Beginner Controls pop-up when playing Scenarios/Tutorials and addresses a couple key issues with Steam Deck font sizes and other Beginner Control behaviours.

This is just a small update to help players jumping into Train Sim World 7, meanwhile our larger update planned for early next week continues to be built and tested by our teams, aiming to fold in more feedback and key fixes.

Please note that updates typically load quickly, but in some cases may take up to 24-hours to release across each platform.

Full Changelog

• Beginner Controls pop-up is now enabled when opening a Scenario or Tutorials
• All Scenarios now correctly default to standard controls (Scenario authors can still configure this to Beginner Controls if desired).
• Beginner Control inputs should behave more consistently
• Enabled a controller‑compatibility notification to display when needed in‑game.
• Adjusted Steam Deck font sizing so the UI appears clearer when playing on Steam Deck, improving overall readability.
