Hey everyone! Hope this is ok linking here, but I figured you guys would appreciate the info. I spoke with Matt Peddlesden, Senior Producer for Train Sim World for a preview/interview for Train Sim World. Asked him for updates on creation tools, multiplayer and much more. I checked the forums before speaking to him to see what stuff you guys are most keen to hear about, so I hope it gives a little more clarity for you long time fans. INTERVIEW HERE
Thanks Sunscreen. Hope people appreciate my candour in the intro and that actual fans of the series took something away from the interview.
Yeah i think so James. Put it this way, you managed to get more out of 1 interview than most people have managed on the forums since TSW released! The main issue with DTG has traditionally been the flow of information about product development, fixes etc which has previously been woeful to non existent. In this sense your interview is a very good step in the right direction. Im not really a massive train guy by the way- i tend to play it as stress relief away from my real world job so its perfect for me. Your article is great for people like me who also like to have an idea of where the product might be going, fixes as mentioned etc. Thanks for a good job.
These Q&As with Matt are always neat. And it’s interesting to get one from someone who isn’t a train person-usually that results in things like that...one review... Matt even did some radio thing, though I’m not sure if that’s online anywhere. If anyone knows where to find that one it would be cool to listen to!
Well done James, that's quite an interesting interview. Pity DTG didn't think of this before releasing Rapid Transit!
Interesting in context of making a new route. This could be explained wider, when the creation tools will be released. Just thinking - what would be released first: editor or multiplayer? My bet is on UnrealEd...
