I wouldn’t necessarily call its time of death just yet. There was a similar delay with TGV if I remember - turned out the license holder was very very specific around certain details and wanted changes made… this could be similar

 

those licensing issues get mentioned a lot... I mean, I kinda understand that some, especially freight companies, dont give a f... about this game... on the other hand, and I understand this too, some are acting as if having a realistic train simulation would turn half of US into train-hijacking loons
