Looks identical on Google Maps right down to the power lines.

I'm now pretty confident in saying that the JT route will be Ormskirk to Blackpool North and South plus Fleetwood branch (for ICI freight) and possibly Preston docks - that comes to 48 miles almost exactly.

The MML destinations are probably there as off-map destinations for the SEHS services - the full route is I think Luton - Rainham for the 700/0s.

    TSW2 Preservation Crew releases
Nothing further on this one from last month.

    What a joke.

Also shows the adjacent line to the single one with debris from it being lifted so is pretty likely to be that location late 80s/early 90s

I'm peeved off with the lack of interest and constant fobbing off from Dovetail in getting out the backlog of improvement patches for older routes from TSW -TSW2 ect. These have been promised to us well over a year ago when Preservation Crew Adam and Sam we're presenting the Roadmap streams. Neither of who still work for Dovetail which is no suprise as they probably got fed up with the BS and the disorganisation of the company they used to work for. These update patches we're according to Adam ready for release as soon as a slot was found for them last summer. Yet here we are 12 months later still being told they're in the pipeline !!! What is going on here ??

Not sure what you mean, but i often thought about there was probably never a preservation crew, fully tasked with upgrading older routes. Probably that crew only worked on those upgrades between releases in spare time.

Whatso ever, glad older routes get / got an upgrade, some minor, some really big.

No ETA on the NEC timetable updates. I’m thinking that NEC Trenton to NY is going to be one of the flagship routes for this year’s major update and that will include other fixes as well. I’d expect we will see that come Septemberish

Why so secretive about upcoming content? If work is well underway on the German loco why not just reveal which one it is? It's not like it will be scrapped regardless?

Like seriously, what do you hope to achieve? Hype? Then I have a good idea for you guys:

"We are releasing the Siemens Vectron / BR 193 in xxx livery - produced in collaboration with TSG" (this part is hypothetical - but a man can dream)

That's how you get hype :)

I'm also a bit concerned about the apparent mothballing of the special projects crew - it's important that TSW grows and improves its existing content as much as it is that new stuff comes out. A few of the earlier German routes are crying out for new layers using what's been since released.

Perhaps we'll finally get the TSW2 Preservation updates at December as a very belated Christmas update. /s

The Class 465 Networker was introduced in the same way. Initially a loco add-on for the original SEHS, but then included as standard in last year's expansion/refresh.

Still don't get the fun of driving stupidly large, ugly diesels at 25mph around a few bends but it takes all sorts I guess.

The only US route I've played more than once is LIRR.

The NS Heritage units would be cool to see in TSW3. I'd also like a UP ES44AC and C40-8, a BNSF AC4400CW and ES44AC/ES44DC, and a BNSF GP38-2. Perhaps we could see a B&O and/or Chessie loco pack for Sand Patch and a PRR and/or Conrail pack for HSC. I'd also like to see the new CSX heritage, military, and 1st responders ES44AH units added to the game in the future.

In some of the older Road Maps you wrote about new timetable for Cajon Pass to integrate the Centerbeam- and the Flatcar in the time table there. Is there something new about.

By working on AI timetable LIRR services to make Penn Station more authentic in NY-Trenton, is there a plan for LiRR to bring Amtrak and NJT AI services there to make Penn Station locking not so emty in the LIRR dlc.

They probably don't want to announce things too early and then it's a while before it releases

I know it adds up but it I cannot see that being the route I think Man Vic-Blackpool North would make more sense and is almost exactly 48 miles but I could be wrong as I don’t know if there was any single track on the line.

Unless of course the single track section is on the Blackpool South section or it could be the top end of the Colne line, which to me would have made a more sensible choice.

Still this is all just speculation until the extent of the route is confirmed officially.

I did think Manchester when it said "head towards the coast [Blackpool] or visit a city [Manchester] to see the sights".

There isn't any Single track no. Its almost certainly Preston to Blackpool North with branches to South, Fleetwood and Ormskirk. Plenty of variety of Operations and scenery am looking forward to more info. First route in a long time since TVL that could have some interesting UK BR Operations.

I'm actually looking forward to the SHG Gameplay on the assumption that it will be for HSC. The 700 at the price point quoted is tempting, my hope is that the lite timetable excludes the ICE & TGV layers which I find so off putting. If this gets confirmed it will probably make it a day 1 purchase for me.

A Pacer? Oh god no. We might get the most notorious British train in history while we still don't have a 50 or Deltic. Where is the justice? :)

same on series x, they do usually say it can take up to 24hrs before it’s to be noted as an issue though.

thanks. was right in front on me.Honestly didn't read the article since didn't see any real news on the roadmap I skip it. but that price is actually surprising. I think the Acela was 19.99. So not sure what to make of it. Maybe a 700/1 might not be that far away?

Very excited for the 700, so glad it's finally coming to TSW! I really hope with the 700 it means more large, epic routes (with fantastic timetables) both North and South of the Thames!

Indeed, the price is very surprising for perhaps the most anticipated loco DLC in TSW ever. The /1 would be very exciting, and is much needed, and I hope such would mean at least finally seeing the 700 in London Commuter one day...

As others have said, its a pretty bare roadmap this month. I agree they are most probably gearing up for the summer release reveals which may arrive before the next roadmap

They did exist in tsc as well
The ac version uses ap 700 sounds. The dc version is dtgs own recordings, but they couldn't record the 700, so they apparently recorded another desiro at a standstill.

If JD hadn't leaked the summer update last year we would not have known until the beginning of August. As they ignored us on the forums until August when they finally annouced TSW3.

So I don't expect any news on that front until the August roadmap which will probably be like last year where they do both new update info and a mini roadmap.

I won't be surprised if we have to wait after the Niddertalbahn updates until the End of Summer release for the rest of the updates.

No sense in making all the extra builds, and they need to make sure everything is compatable with whatever new features or upgrade they make.

Maybe we get the Vectron (insert Niddertalbahn update here with the in prep for release update) in about a month
but that will be it for releases I'm afraid. Until the big release. Which I still think will be 2 new routes and an upgraded and extended Dreseden Reisa.

Hands down one of the most shameless cash grabs. I'm sure the reskins will be well done but there's a fantastic modding community that can make high quality without charging a cent for them. There's literally no point in buying reskins.

Exactly and DTG Alex we are also tired with zero information on Dresden Commuter. That trophy/achievent is broken for almost two years now. We’ve been patient long enough don’t you think?! How DTG conducts business is appaling because you keep saying the team’s aware but have come up with nothing.

Now if they're sensible this will become standard for new releases...
    But I have my doubts.
