I love that last shot.
Requirements at the moment are both versions of the Riviera Line (modern + 50s), Weardale & Teesdale, West Highland Line Extension, Western Lines of Scotland, Woodhead, and Settle & Carlisle. Those shouldn't change, as wherever possible we're doing custom assets to avoid adding to the already kind of lengthy list.
Been a while since I've posted something. So here's some shots that I've taken in my absence.
I already have everyone of those, so, that's brilliant, thanks a lot for your answer, and good luck with your route build, it looks excellent so far.
Thank you, Peter.
I'll pop a couple of Steam engines up from the Steam Workshop LMS route that is still WIP, but, it's playable currently. The loco is by Victorian Lad.
That route looks nice, I have been looking on the workshop for some BR steam/BR diesel routes but not seen this one? What is it called please?
I have a few of Victorian Lads steamers, none of his LMS ones yet though. His O/G5 is joyful and perfect for the Weardale route, there is a project to build a replica, would love to see it in real like one day.
It's only gone on to the Workshop in the last 48 hours, Peter, so, shouldn't be too hard to find. It's called An LMS Route WIP v1.5.4, this is what you should be looking for. I had the previous version from last July so had already subscribed to it and got the update automatically.
This is the webpage for the Steam locos. https://caledoniaworks.com/product/lnwr-webb-coal-tank/
I assume you already have an account set up for his DLC. I think you get about 20 locomotives in various liveries in this pack.
Thanks for that Steve, I will go and find it now. I do have an account, I have been planning to purchase the Coal Tank for a couple of South Wales steam routes on the Recreating Britains Lost Routes page. I have a long list of DLC to purchase at the moment.
My first forum post, so please be gentle with me.
A slightly happier and more interesting alternative universe. A Chiltern Mainline 2+6 HST set (recently released from MML duties) is seen working the 1730 London Marylebone to Birmingham Snow Hill business express, booked at a tight 1hr42m with only 3 intermediate stops.
Nearing Princes Risborough
Pausing at Banbury (the first stop), with a local service for Marylebone in the background
Just arrived at Warwick Parkway. The restaurant service concludes once the M42 corridor business travellers alight.
Departure from Warwick Parkway, as the shadows lengthen.
Back to basics on the Portsmouth Direct Line.
The Feather River route is stunning, and even more with this heritage unit and the UP scenario pack
I decided to play around in Photoshop a little today and made a couple of railroad advertisements/posters out of my screenshots. I think they turned out quite nicely!
Some shots of the Class 101:
86256 "Pebble Mill" at Rugby
You hardly ever see a screenshot of a "rat", so here you go.
D342 (40142) at Guide Bridge.
87002 at Kingmoor TMD
Real life.... Ais Gill summit - Settle-Carlisle line. 40145 on the Staycation Express with 47712 on the rear.
Train Sim - Couldn't get the same angle due to the wall being a lot taller in TS
That bottom shot still looks very photo realistic, it shows that at it's best TS1 is close to TSW. What route is that?
Sorry, should have said... I've edited the post now. It's Settle to Carlisle.
It's fine, thanks, I wondered if it was S & C, I haven't driven it for a few years, but I couldn't remember it looking that good! I must revisit it.
It's a great route to drive if you know it in real life... you notice all the detail more.
Manchester - Liverpool via Warrington Central
24004 passing platform 15 at Manchester Victoria in the early 1980s
LNER HST at King's Cross
That could almost be a photo. The lighting is excellent.
The very excellent Major Wales's VTEC reskin pack helps too... but yeah, I did play with the times a bit to get the lighting just right
Amtrak P42DC on the WCML heading to Glascow
I think its loading gauge may cause it a few problems before it gets there
A busy autumn morning at York in 2019 - More LNER goodness with the best livery they've ever had.
Fantastic picture. Used to do a lot of spotting there and was always looking over into that siding where the 37s are.
Just wanted to share a few screenshots that I have taken, been a while since I posted here. The first four shots are all stock equipment and routes; the last shot is from when I gave SS's GEVO-12 EP and JR freight cars a go. God bless and stay well everyone!
Nice shots, Nacho!
Long live the Pennsy!
A British Railfreight Class 58 heavy freight diesel locomotive hauls a coal train through Stafford Station and onwards past the derelict sidings, rusty wagons and allotments on the WCML Trent Valley route.
Thanks! Yours too!
Playing with more reskins
Great shots Blacknred81
Doncaster looking north.
Lovelies reskins, I really like USA freighters
Nice shots! I saw one of UP's rebuilt AC6000CW's (convertable) on Halloween. They are rebuilding the AC6000's and AC4400s kind of like CP's AC4400CWM's. Pretty sharp looking.

A freezing afternoon in November 1967 sees a work-stained Lostock Hall 5MT slogging it’s way from Tebay to Shap Summit at a steady 13mph. No banker available!
