Took my first two scenarios with the ICE 2 and when SIFA first goes off and when the buzzer sounds after 4 seconds neither the small HUD exclamation mark nor the large HUD warning symbols for SIFA light up like other trains.

The ICE 3 Velaro D has NO HUD warning symbols for SIFA (Small HUD or large HUD)

Why this is important: Sometimes the glare on the dash makes it hard to see the SIFA warning light - in these instances the HUDs help. TSW-2 solves this problem with putting the SIFA warning light on 3 different displays.

The ICE 3M High Speed train works fine with the HUD symbols lighting up.

These inconsistencies on how trains are programmed are driving me crazy! Some trains shift-A will turn AFB on (ICE Velaro, ICE2), ICE 3M High Speed you just have to move the AFB lever. Of course documentation varies on whether it exists.

Not all trains are the same - some have PZB and Sifa, others don't
TSW might put information on 3 different displays but this is TS2021 and you get a display on the panel - sometimes the HUD
    Real drivers don't have a F3 or F4 HUD
If it is causing a problem switch it off

These models have been made over a long period of time so the features they have and how they work vary between the trains.
You just have to read the manual to see what the method of operation is

This is the ICE2 that dates from 2012
    5.2 SIFA Driver Vigilance
The SIFA vigilance alerter is disabled at startup, but can be activated or deactivated by pressing ‘Shift+Enter(Numpad)’.
After activation you should press the ‘Enter’ key to initially acknowledge activation.
While the train is moving, the driver is required to confirm an alarm every 30 seconds by pressing the ‘Enter’ key.
Initially the SIFA light on the cab dashboard will be lit. After 4 seconds an audible alert will sound.
After a further 2.5 seconds the emergency brake will be applied.
This can be avoided by acknowledging the alert by pressing the ‘Enter’ key.

And the is the new ICE3/BR407 that was made in 2018
    5.1 SiFa (Vigilance Alarm)
The locomotive has a working Time-Time-SiFa (vigilance alarm) which can be activated or deactivated with <Shift+7> or <Shift+Numpad Enter>.
The purpose of the SiFa is to keep the driver vigilant at all times and to allow the locomotive to come quickly and safely to a stop should the driver become incapacitated or otherwise not be in proper control of the train.
If you enable the SiFa, you have to press the space bar every 30 seconds to reset the timer.
If you forget to reset the SiFa timer, the SiFa lamp will light up on the desk to remind you to press the SiFa button.
If you miss this, after 2 seconds you will get a verbal warning that will persist for a further 2 seconds.
After which, the train will begin braking automatically and give you an emergency verbal warning.
You can stop the brakes each time with a press on the SiFa pedal to reset the timer.
This is not considered to be a full emergency brake application.
The SiFa will pause if you switch to an outside view. So, you can have it switched on even if you want to explore the route.
Upon returning to the cab view, the SiFa timer will reset its 30 second countdown and resume as normal.

It is wrong to assume all trains will be the same in the game because they are not in real life
