Think of this as sort of the American version of the British Railway Journey's offering.

Looks like a overhyped glorified scenario pack, it's High Iron Simulations though so the scenarios should be good, even better with Searchlight Simulation mods and whatnot.

Why point it out here instead on in Bug Reports or reporting it direct?

Oh, that's a shame. That game seems to have been a massive flop, but the way they worded this it seems it's just a bundle like that one that came with Soldier Summit from a few years ago.

so i think this is stand alone DLC. on page there it says:
Train Simulator’s upcoming “The Battle for Sherman Hill” will include:
    • Train Simulator’s 56-mile Sherman Hill route extending from Cheyenne to Laramie Wyoming and featuring Union Pacific’s GE ES44AC, EMD SD40-2, SD60M, SD70M, and SW10 locomotive types as well as a variety of contemporary freight rolling stock.
    • The Union Pacific 4-8-8-4 Big Boy, the world’s largest steam locomotive.
    • Union Pacific’s Challenger, the railroad’s powerful, elegant, and fast 4-6-6-4.
    • Southern Pacific’s 4-8-8-2 Cab Forward, which includes 1940s and 1950s era freight equipment ideal for use on the Sherman Hill route.
    • Union Pacific’s extraordinary and distinctive 8,500-horsepower GE “Big Blow” turbine.
    • Train Simulator’s GP40-2, with the versatile Geep in Union Pacific and UP predecessor road liveries.
    • Union Pacific’s modern and powerful EMD SD70ACe in Union Pacific and UP’s D&RGW heritage livery.
so this got me wondering will people who have stander Sherman Hill route will they get BigBoy, Southern Pacific’s 4-8-8-2 Cab Forward, GP40-2 pack, Union Pacific’s modern and powerful EMD SD70ACe pack in update?

I would love the Gas Turbine, Big Boy, and Challenger. The Cab Forward is cool, too. I really want a UP ET44AC (or C45AH) and SD70ACe-T4. Also, the route is missing another UP staple: the 3-cylinder 4-12-2. I'd love the 4-12-2s as a new DLC.

Doesn't Sherman Hill include the GT-El anyway? I've always had it having gotten started with TS2016, which included Sherman Hill, and I've never seen it for sale as a separate DLC (not that I've looked for it but I think I'd've noticed it by now).

Supposed to, but some people never got it even though they own the route (Easily fixed if you contact DTG about the issue and send an app manifest)

I might just wait for this one instead of buying the OG Sherman Hill.

Imagine if they gave the GTEL to everyone that owns Sherman Hill when this releases. That'd be great.

Without having to go through the ticket business, oh that'd be awesome!

I'm aware of that. I've owned the DLC for a while now. I was just mentioning them as a reference to them being another staple of UP's roster of steam locos.
