Probably not a winning shot but another take of Colorful (on top of looking at a city, or a variety of wagons) is typical British countryside (Weardale & Teesdale Network, Class 33 in BR Green completely hidden with some wagons from the route): ps.: Please enable over 100 characters for a file name and cut it on server side if you need to. Clumsy that I have to clone it just so that I can upload it.
Route: Tehachapi Pass Train: UP ES44AC, EMD E7 (out of shot). A pretty colorful scenery for a desert route. (why is that bush on the track?)

A somewhat colorful time in Amtrak's history, the early years of Amtrak's existence were a mixed bag of colors, as the railroad leased, then later bought passenger equipment from the major Class I railroads. Beginning in 1972, Amtrak introduced what is now known as the Phase I paint, the 1st official paint scheme of Amtrak. Over time, Amtrak's equipment was repainted into the new paint. For a time the newly painted Amtrak cars were seen mixed matched with the equipment still wearing their previous owners colors. Here in about 1973, Amtrak train #5, the Westbound San Francisco Zephyr heads over Donner Pass with a mixed consist of equipment. It wasn't uncommon for the Southern Pacific Railroad to add one of their own units to the front of the SFZ to lead it over the pass, as seen here with F7A #6341. Route: Donner Pass Locomotives: EMD F7A, EMD E8A, EMD E8B
An OBB 1016 poses in front of the boldly coloured apartment block next to Salzburg central station on the Salzburg - Schwarzach-St. Veit route.
A CSX Q-Train, lead by an AC6000CW, heads westbound thru the Appalachian Mountains in Fall around the early 2010's. Route: B&O Mountain Subdivision Locomotives: GE AC6000CW, EMD SD70MAC, EMD SD80MAC, GE ES44AC
The hills are alive with...colour! An ICE T heads east through the Alps towards Innsbruck above a carpet of bluebells, poppies and wildflowers. Route: Three Country Corner Loco: ICE T

Might want to check your water reflections before submitting an entry, not a criticism just an observation.
