Steam Tsw 7 Returning To Menu And Entering Service Or Journey Mode

after playing on foot an service or scenario
the train service or journeys menu acts up but it actually is just working fine
just some weird glitch
is this happening for everyone?
no ini edit or mods

 

It’s a ‘feature’.

They prevented these tiles from loading between leaving your game session and going back to the menu. Of course that means you now have to sit and wait for them to load in the menu - you can still try and use it, but it looked like a nightmare in the streams, as the loading was causing severe FPS fluctuations.

DTG think they’ve ’improved loading times’ but what they’ve actually done is discovered the reason that loading time exists.

Personally I’d rather it go back to the way it was, the only loading time people wanted improving was actually loading the game from desktop.

 

it is indeed super annoying now
in 6 the wait time was put into a load screen to get to the menu that was way better
