Tsw - Simulation Or Not?

    And that's perfectly fine, because nothing kills the simulation more than stuttering or dropouts, especially when it comes to getting a feel for a physically correct movement or when you have to control something precisely.

    Of course, we don't need FAA approval for TSW, but still, for me personally, smooth graphics are more important than beautiful graphics.

    Just one example. Driving on a high-speed track feels much more realistic when nothing stutters, even if the graphics are not the best. You can have the most beautiful, photorealistic graphics - as soon as there are dropouts (in picture and sound!) every few kilometres, it kills the immersion, the concentration and it takes you out of "the flow".

    In TSW, this is exactly one of the biggest problems for me. I never really got used to the stuttering. I get scared every time the game stops for a second - sometimes the sound even pitches away and you get wheelslip. Bam, the immersion is gone.
