PC Tsw2 Is Lagging Very Hard

Hello, i have the problem, that i have to use the lowest graphic settings to get to 60fps. But, i have a GTX 1070, 16GB RAM, i7 6700K but it looks so ugly. The recommenend settings are: i7 4790, 8GB RAM and a GTX 970?! So i dont understand why it isnt working. Please help!

What resolution are you running? And what's your cpu and gpu usage figures?

 

Have you tried playing with a smaller monitor? What settings are you using? i would suggest lowering the settings to high or medium
I wouldn't set the screen resolution above 100% on a GTX1070,
