I would suggest making these edits to the journey mode if possible: When using a formation with a loco and a cab car (like with the dostos or with the CalTrain passenger trains) combine the loco and cab car chapters together so there would be 1 loco service than 1 cab car service. Add journeys to the locos that come with layers (like RE trains on HMA or S-bahn trains on SKA) with a few timtable services with different weather setup.
