Love that idea! We need the 80X series in the game. I do wonder what this route would be like based in GWR (steam) or BR (steam) days. I would 100% buy it no matter the era.
BR Blue would be better as you had several loco hauled services to Newquay on a Summer Saturday. Branch would be worked either by Class 119 or Class 120 Cross Country DMUs or occasionally a Class 118. Go back far enough and you could have Warships and Westerns on the through trains and a far more extensive China Clay network, too.
Doesn't it only get a train about every 2 hours, with one Unit shuttling back and forth? (and then the local service tended to be pulled when long distance trains were on the line - one reason why the cut in through services has been good is the local can now run on Summer Saturdays)
