Hi guys, I hope to get a sensible answer. First, I'll explain my issue, then I'll ask my transfer question. In TSW2020, I had an issue where I did everything online with my DTG account. I leveled up my character, leveled up the routes and trains, and in the meantime, I earned my trophies online on PS5. After completing everything from NEC New York to Hauptstrecke Rhein-Ruhr, I noticed that I was missing some trophies online, like those for Oakville Subdivision. So, I played that offline. I transferred my save data to the PS5 cloud, then earned the remaining 10 trophies offline. After getting all the trophies offline, I deleted my local file on the PS5 and downloaded the data from the PS5 cloud. When I went back online with my DTG account, my character and all my progression were gone. From NEC New York to Hauptstrecke Rhein-Ruhr, my character was no longer level 300; it was level 11, and I only had progression from the offline Oakville Subdivision. I was annoyed, of course. Now that I know TSW2020 is a standalone game, my question is: if I play TSW2 and complete all trophies and 100% the game, what exactly will be transferred to TSW3, 4, 5, and 6? Are there any trophies in TSW2 to TSW6 that I need to be warned about? And if I use the offline/online method, will the same issue I experienced with TSW2020 happen in TSW2 as well? Please let me know; I really, really, really want to know before I start TSW2.
Your in-game profile transfers, meaning your level, services you completed, collectables found etc. Trophies do not transfer. You have to redo trophies in each iteration of the Tsw. So if you have trophies in mind, it’s wise to use your backup strategically. For example, if you have a ‘collect all collectables in a route’ trophy, then what you want to do is to leave 2-3 collectables not collected, make a save backup in the ps cloud, collect the remaining items to get the trophy, and then reload the save backup from the cloud that has those 2-3 items uncollected. This way when you move to the next iteration, you would only need to collect those 2-3 collectables for the trophy. Just saves you some time.

I switched on the internet, downloaded the file from the cloud, I logged in at DTG, and when I went in, all my progression, so my character level, collectibles, everything was deleted. The only thing that was there was what I did offline, so instead of level 300, I was level 11, and instead of NEC New York to Hauptstrecke Rhein-Ruhr that I finished, I only had Oakville Subdivision done. You probably have auto synch turned on on your playstation and somehow your cloud save was overwritten with the offline save. You can turn off autosynch in the PlayStation settings.

But as I mentioned about trophies, you said, if I'm correct, I should, for example, collect instead of 100, I just collect 99/100, stand in front of the item, make a save, then do the transfer, and then back to TSW2. I know trophies won't transfer from TSW2 to TSW3, etc. My question is, since TSW has categories and some changes, meaning shorter requirements, for example, in TSW2 for Peninsula Corridor San Francisco-San Jose there were 10 trophy requirements, while in TSW3 there are only 3 trophies, and I guess all others got the same treatment. So my question is, which one should I keep, like not 100% before transferring to the next TSW game? I hope you understand the question because I don't want to do everything, transfer, and then realize the trophies don't come over. So I really want to know which DLCs I need to be careful of before transferring to another TSW. I mean, for example, does Peninsula Corridor San Francisco - San Jose have the same trophies when I transfer TSW3 to TSW4, 5, and 6? Will they all have 3 trophies, and I won't touch this DLC? Please let me know what to be careful of before transferring to another TSW.

I don't remember which ones were problematic, but it’s best to assume any of them may not unlock. Thats why you need to manually track requirements for each trophy and make a backup save before you earn it. Unfortunately it’s a lot of work.
