PS5 Tsw4 Pre Order Auto Download

Gloomhaven came out 2 days ago, I pre-ordered the Gold Edition which came with 3 DLCs, all of which pre-downloaded just fine.

Train Sim World 4 was the only pre-order I've done where it's randomly downloaded the base game for PS5 plus the DLC (but not the base game) for PS4, all other pre-downloads have been the PS5 version only. If I were a betting man I would put money on the pre-download being set up to believe the PS4 DLC belongs to the PS5 game, but when started manually the PS5 knows that can't be right and throws out an error message instead.

 

It will be like last year.
Sony have a DLC submission limit per week.
So DTG could only release so many TSW2 packs per week for TSW3 until all DLC could be imported.

I would recommend that we try at 4pm BST (40mins from now) to see if the DLC Content can be installed. If the base game can be downloaded yesterday at 4pm, I would guess that the DLC will be available today at 4pm. So in stages, game yesterday. DLC today which will be weird.

 

In a another topic JD has already anwserd that there is someting wrong on the side of Sony.... I guess this issue isn't fast fixed and it will be problematic tomorow... If you have follow the history by TSW its nothing new by new releases in the way off troubles by release!

 

If that happens this time layers on so routes will not be available and some tsw2 loco add ons won't be available

 

Yeah there is going to be some fun and games.

Alot of it is down to Sonys restrictions but one wonders can DTG pre empt some of to stay ahead of the posy. Like pre submitting older DLC for certification early if that is possible.

 

Like including some relevant older DLC already in EA.

 

The FAQ says people who buy the Special Edition get to play the extra included routes during Early Access, if DTG have those set up already hopefully that means they've pre-planned this time and set up the other old routes in advance.

 

Hey guys, got the same download mix! It could be that the error is on Sony's side (probably the PS5 system software or a server thinks that the order is 4 before 5). Because the base game is the PS5 version, the missing routes and DLCs should hopefully be reloadable tomorrow after activation... or we have to wait until next Tuesday when the entire content will be made available in the store anyway.

 

You’ve just allowed the PS to auto download the PS4 version too, it’s not related.

For future reference you can go into your preorders and select which versions you want to auto install.

 

The contract in the tsw4 basis routes and deluxe locos should be available in early access

 

Well I just tried now and PS5 said noooooooooooo

 

I tried downloading from my account on the PlayStation website with no luck!!

 

Still nothing same error code. They looked to be locked intill tomorrow

 

I just preloaded the base game so I could at least access training centre if this is still going on tomorrow. Addons are still no dice.

 

Sony and it's limits... What about their main slogan? Seems to be a big fat lie...

What is the file size if anyone knows?

 

Around 30 GB from looking at the install size of the PS4 version shown in the screenshot above

I downloaded the PS4 Version also, so if the PS5 Version is still not working tomorrow i'll play the PS4 Version till 26th.

Pre-ordered a game with early access for the first time! I really want everything to go smoothly on PS5

 

I just hope the content will be accessible tomorrow. At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s only the training centre we’ll be able to access tomorrow.

 

I was only able to download the base game earlier. When trying to do the whole lot, it wouldn’t let me. I had to deselect all the DLC first.

 

The website doesn’t show the DLC in the list for me, just the base game

I’m in UK. All I can see is a countdown timer. Nothing is Available to download, not even the base game. I have tried all the suggestions made, clearing cache, restoring licenses and gone through store.
I appreciate you don’t have much information at present but when should we expect an update from Sony?

I don't get an error, but I can't start a download. It simply says “expected to be available from September 19th”. The automatic download box is checked. What are the next steps? Is there an update?

 

Im in australia with a ps5 and mine just has the countdown which is less than 24 hours away from being playable but i still cant download it. The download date is the 20th of september. It is the 21st here in australia and i still cant download it. DTG has let everyone down who is a ps5 owner.

 

I was able to download base and the MetroLink Add-On as well as Flying Scotsman so far. (P5)..But i do get errors for everything else!

 

DTG JD If it help any I just checked my PlayStation app to see if I could start a download there but when I click on the ps5 version the option to download to console goes away where as the ps4 version lets me download to console from the app

 

On PS5 I am now able to download (and have installed) the following add ons + base game.

I am still not able to install the following (same error code reported)

S-Bahn VBerg

Vectron

I suspect the add ons are slowly becoming available, will try the rest in the AM.
