Hi, I would be very grateful if someone could help/advise me. For some reason TSW5 wont even start for me. I have played over 24hours since TSW5 came out and have recently been running the new Preston-Carlisle release. I have changed nothing but when I try to run the game on my PC using Steam this pops-up. Could someone please advise me of a fix that I can do. Thank-you in advance!
Some people have said it could be caused by antivirus software, if you have one you could try adding TSW to exceptions list, then revalidate files on Steam https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/error-upon-launching.31947/
Many thanks for your reply, I have had no issues with my anti-virus software, it has given me no notifications of any suspicious software, however, I will follow your advice. I also found another posting with the same issue and I am looking at that too Thanks again, it is much appreciated.
