Unlikely. Dtg rely on console business to keep tsw going so whilst the game is finally moving away from gen 8, I don’t see any PC only dlc happening soon
How about the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch railway? Not only is it running today (so it hits the 'modern-day' brief) but, if the Dungeness line is also modelled, there's even somewhere to run the nuclear flask wagons. So a "Win, Win, Win". (Steam / Modern day / Nuclear).
Why does everyone want the west coastway? It’s another 40 mile straight line with the same sort of stock already over represented in this sim
Not to mention a total bus stop with most stations very close together. I only travelled across there once and was glad to get off at Brighton for a fast train back to Victoria.
Snowdon Mountain Railway? Modern Day, Diesel, Interesting scenery........and, I hear, this route is definitely on the up. Summit to look forward to perhaps? (Although, I accept, some people just have a downer on it)
Getting just a tank engine (other than Thomas) or another standard gauge heritage line seems an impossibility so as much as I’d absolutely love the RHDR on TSW, it just isn’t going to happen. I enjoy playing TSW but I am always hoping a competitor comes on the scene to make them up their game (pardon the pun)
Because that is the type of route I enjoy and play the game for. I was an LRT driver for 30 years before I retired so short bus stop routes are my nostalgia.
It is definitely time that we see a return for Metro North Railroad. I would like to see the Hudson and New Haven Lines, featuring the P32AC-DM, Shoreliner push pull coaches, and M8. We have not seen Metro North since TSW2
