Could you please build the Stuttgart-Heilbronn line to Neckarsulm? That's only about 4 km more. But the RE8 would end there. That way, you'd have a complete route to run. Changing the driver one stop before the final stop is a bit unrealistic xD

Me too i can't wait to see the screenshot as well. Like you said this will be monumental especially when this is the route that we have all been waiting for. ;):D:cool: I wonder how well the will make the grand central terminal main councourse or the hub where the clock is also how well will the ceiling and lightning will look like. Hopefully it will be close to the actual one. So excited.

What about the morristown line? Have you heard anything of the Penn Station Terminal? Would they implement the new moniyan hall Penn station as well? Also will the main councourse where you buy the ticket be depicted in game? The lightning for the current penn station also look so dark, would they be reworking that as well.

I don't think we're getting the concourse on either station.

One slightly worrying thing about the Czech map is that the rail vehicles have no logos......so hopefully it won't stay that way

The line is set in the early 2000s - the lines and stopping patterns are almost certainly going to be quite different to what they are like in the current timetable.

That’s a shame. GCS concourse would really enhance the game.

If they can't get the license, they can't include the branding

At least the liveries aren’t fictional. No branding is what it is, but the liveries we’ve seen where there hasn’t been a license have been pretty poor.

I am really looking forward to the Birmingham - Crewe route as the WCML is slowly assembled. Can we have the MK - Birmingham section next year?

Besides the fact that it's 120 miles, i.e longer than just about every full route?

To be fair, after SEHS & now DRA to Leipzig, such ambitions seem to at least be more possible. Probably wouldn’t see it for a few years if the former are anything to go by, but a couple of years ago I’d have wrote the idea off too, no so much now.

Perhaps one day someone will do a DLC to fill in the missing Wilmslow - Crewe section & stitch any existing modern WCML sections up. I rather suspect JT may have a shot at connecting theirs together.

you are right, which i kinda of want to see for the US Content as well. Why is it always the US Route always ended up short instead of the full line route. Ex MTA Metro North Harlem Line, the Upcoming NJ Transit Morrison & Essex. This is just not fair for the US Player, everytime they do a US route especially route in new york city and nj they don't give us the full route. DTG Matt DTG Alex DTG JD Why does everytime the US Player that live in the East Coast like NYC and NJ always don't get the full line route such as the MTA Harlem Line, and the upcoming NJ Transit Morrison & Essex to the Last Stop?

Metrolinks 2 routes were both full length to an extent.

The Antelope Valley Line was its full length, but the scenery suffered cause if it.

San Bernardino Line was also mostly full length aside from 1 train that ran further down the line.

But this is also most likely because the Los Angeles area isn't as dense as the East Coast, especially the NYC area, which has higher population density and I believe most if the East coast routes have more stations as well.

These all eat into development time, and DTG just can't fit full lines into their development windows. So DTG has to pick and choose how many stations and which station to be a sensible end point.

So sacrifices had to be made to put an endpoint somewhere that isn't in the middle of nowhere, and to keep the route at least looking somewhat sensible.

^This. Metro New York means asset density that balloons the dev time per mile.

still they have to make it fair for US Player. Even German have more scenery while US doesn't. They have to make the city vibe and surrounding more better to make up the fact that we us player only get partial of the route. Its still no fair. What do you think?

Maybe. But the cityscapes in LA, and NYC in particular, leave an awful lot to be desired in terms of authenticity and atmosphere.

Yes I’m not sure how much time is really being spent there, they pretty awful. Going from images we’ve seen of Hoboken, I’m not convinced we’re getting much better.

I’m not going to argue there’s obvious time being spent on making an asset, but they aren’t doing them in good detail or even good accuracy. The general placement of them is also poor - Harlem line or most lines where you’re basically city running, there’s very little in the way of care being taken to make roads, pavements & infrastructure look much better then ‘thrown down’ so to speak.

Yes, coincidentally I was thinking about the Harlem Line when I posted. I'm still unhappy about the missing ball park.
