Steam Tsw7 Disappearing Route, Mastery And Rolling Stock Thumbnails

When you first start the game all the thumbnails are showing correctly. When finishing a service, and return to the main menu all the thumbnails are replaced by a grey picture of a class 331 with a loading circles symbols. You can still select and play a service. The only way for the thumbnails to show is to restart the game, then they are only showing for the first run. Any help or advice would be gratefully appreciated.

The game loads back to the main menu very quickly after playing a route. Seems to be still loading items to me. It’s very sluggish as well.
