A new route between sunderland/ newcastle connecting to NCL Airport, St James via the coast and south shields

This is one of the more commonly suggested routes. As someone with a Metro gold card, I'm definitely one of those in favour. Might also be nice to see some Northern services on the Northumberland line at Northumberland Park.
I’m guessing the 60 stations plus it’s a big network, (plus theirs no guarantee they could get the license) means if it ever arrives to TSW it will be one of the lines (hard to guess which) rather than the whole network. can’t see it happening unfortunately as 1 big network as great as that would be.
