Since many months is has been build on the upcoming Hamburg U1 line. Now its not long until the release on Just Trains. There are rumors at about 1 - 2 weeks, next Tuesday (I believe) there will be a stream by JT. Product page: https://www.justtrains.net/product/u-bahn-hamburg-u1 There will be a future update too that will add the rolling stock DT4 for free. A release to steam is planned to, but at this point without release date. Other past streamed videos that showed the route: by the creator: from others: And in the german forum it is planned to add an additional download with some further/alternative station announcements. If someone interested theres a thread with many further pictures from the building process https://rail-sim.de/forum/thread/35978-u-bahn-hamburg/?postID=789402#post789402
so if the number of scenarios is the only criteria that counts I would agree. But a detailed route with >1h drive in one direction, in future two drivable rolling stock - so I think thats a very fair pricing! And yeah, these days all stuff becomes expensive (thanks to the hypocritical actions and sanctions to specific countries, and at the same time they make partnerships and deals with other dubious countries. But thats another thing not for this forum). The time that stuff is squandered for low is gone. Don´t know what action these scenarios will include or not, but if its a ease A to B drive (as often as at DTG routes for example) - and that will be the most case on such subway lines, than you can easily use QuickDrive too instead of simply 5 to 10 regulary scenarios with same actions. As I know these QD here will include AI too
The number of scenarios is not the only criteria which makes a route a good one. But once you have done the 3 scenarios with the unit there is not much else Not sure if this is just A to B or are other lines are included? Some variety of scenario is required - a late departure with the driver trying to make up time for example Yes you can do a Quick Drive but the AI you see will be the same on every trip Compare this route with U-Bahn Frankfurt https://www.justtrains.net/product/u-bahn-frankfurt-ii 65 kilometres of track covering lines U1 to U9 of the Frankfurt U-Bahn U3, U4 and U5 train types 24 scenarios with different driveable trains and numerous AI trains
Not surprised by the price. Everything is going up quite widely, but wages and pensions are not rising at the same rate. All I can say is wait for a sale to afford some of these over expensive routes. It’s a sign of the times. Costs more also now to charge up your computers too.
A future update will also include the DT4 rolling stock at no additional cost. A Steam release is also in the works, but no specific date has been set as of yet. Other previously broadcast videos demonstrating the path. Appearance-wise, it's OK, but I find the asking price of £32.99 for three "Standard" situations and two "Free Roams. drift hunters 2
How do you find out station numbers? It says in the manual to use the two digit station ID followed by the time of departure but there is no two digit ID in the manual.
Any news on when the 1.04 update will hit Steam? This was released early February. It will add the DT4 train and a whole bunch of bugfixes. I'm not interested in speculation or opinions.
Drivable train - HHA Type DT4 The fully featured DT4 was added in the February 2024 v1.03 update. As to when Steam updates it is anyone's guess
Only DTG can tell. Though they don't look in here very often, as seen by the lot of abandoned pinned threads here and on the Steam forums...
That update is already outdated. The most recent version is v1.04. That one was also released in February 2024.
Here is my source, it's in German though. Someone got a mail telling them the 1.04 update was ready to download: https://rail-sim.de/forum/thread/35978-u-bahn-hamburg/?postID=836316#post836316 Only speculation and no answers as to its Steam release in that thread.
