Sie heisst Hochbahn, weil sie zu 2/3 oberirdisch verläuft und der schönste Abschnitt ist zwischen den Landungsbrücken und Rödingsmarkt, wo man den Hafen von Hamburg vom Zug aus sehen kann. Natürlich nicht mit Chicago zu vergleichen aber in Europa einzigartig. Built in 1913 and circling Hamburg. It is called Hochbahn because 2/3 of it runs above ground and the most beautiful section is between the Landungsbrücken and Rödingsmarkt, where you can see the port of Hamburg from the train.
