This poll is asking what UK TOCS you would like to see in TSW Doesn't have to be possible, just what your preference. All franchises will be shown as their Modern day names (Minus British Rail) I will, for the obvious reason of "it's complete'', exclude Island Line. Format: Round One (This): All TOCs in a battle to be Top 8 Round Two: Basically the same as round one except it's top 8 Round 3: Broken into 4 Parts - To determine which TOC you would like to see operate that franchise (also sets the timing) After that you will see as it happens. It is a knockout vote.
LNER in the lead... Scotrail, Northern & TPE picking up votes. All of which are in this suggestion of mine... cough https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/east-coast-mainline-edinburgh-newcastle.37930/
GWR in 3rd How would this interest you? https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/south-wales-network-class-800-143-150.40378/
The first two are Chiltern and greater Anglia because their routes are in Classic Train simulator 21 as Chiltern Main Line and GEML. Both Needs to be in TSW2. My third choice is Merseyrail because there is no another British third rail route outside of London that will fill it in. The Class 507s & 508s found on Merseyrail Rail can layer onto SEHS & BML if the community wanted a special timetable for them that will bring the early 2000s.
Considering how many requests I've seen for TfL rail on GWE I'm surprised TfL rail hasn't got more votes...
Can I be the only forum member who doesn't know what "TOC" stands for? (I'll also admit to probably not caring much.)
Train Operating Company (passenger trains), also FOC is Freight Operating Company's. Not sure if this is just a UK thing or if other countries use terms like this too
Thank you really like this thread think it's a great idea. I think it would be an idea after all rounds are complete start a thread with the results in the suggestions forum and hopefully DTG will take note?
Chiltern is so very criminally underrated and it upsets me. How could you not love the unique mark 3s and those 68s, my Lord those 68s.
And it's done! The following will go to round 2! LNER (22 Votes) British Rail (21 Votes) GWR (21 Votes) TPE (15 Votes) Northern (14 Votes) ScotRail (12 Votes) TfW (12 Votes) GA & Stansted (11 Votes)
