Unofficial Screenshot Contest 2022- Week 08

Rules:
- Screenshot should be in some way (can be very tenuous) linked to a theme. Otherwise anything goes.
- You can enter up to 3 screenshots, posted as separate posts. You can delete and replace if you wish.
- 3rd party content / Reshades / Reskins etc. are welcomed but are not mandatory.
- Previous week's winner to decide winner (can't enter themselves).
- The winner chooses the new theme for next week (and becomes the new judge).

Entries will close at 9:00 PM GMT on Friday, March 4th and will be judged by me - Robbo13

In the event of this weeks winner not responding by 5PM Sunday, March 6th a new thread will be created using the theme with the highest votes in this weeks poll.

This weeks theme will be: End of the Line

 

A Class 37 and 3 Class 170's at Norwich Station.

Locos: Class 37, Class 170
Route: Wherry Lines: Norwich - Great Yarmouth & Lowestoft

 

An EMR 158 sits at Matlock station at the end of the beautiful Derwent Valley Branch line.

 

A Class 37 pulls out of Great Yarmouth Terminus with a Class 31 / Class 47 & Class 101 for company.

 

A GWR Dean Goods with a passenger service at Kingswear at the end of the Riviera Line.

 

BR182 with a regional express at Dresden main station. In the process a BR143 and an ICET, BR411.....

 

A Hull Trains Class 802 rolls into London Kings Cross terminus after an early morning run down the ECML from Hull via Doncaster.

Loco(s): AP class 800-803, AP class 91, AP class 387

A handful of Class 421s at Brighton station.....

It literally is the end of the line for these locos. A class 03 shunter drops off 2 locos and 2 shunters for demolition and scrapping at Doncaster.

Well it's Friday and it's gone 9pm so the results are in...

In 3rd place

Nick Y with the photo of Doncaster Works. A sad sight but a brilliant shot with plenty to see!

2nd place was quite hard to decide and it's very close between these two. In the end 2nd goes too....

Craigie-C with this shot at Great Yarmouth. Plenty going on with a range of different locos and the DMU in the background.

Finally in 1st place is.....

joerg.kuenscher with this great shot of Brighton station with the 421s. The sun shining through onto the side of the train makes one of the older DLCs of TS look excellent!

Congrats to all that entered and congrats to those that won. I now hand over the controls to joerg.kuenscher for next weeks contest.
