As usual I'm bad at following rules so I'm just posting once. In my book, the above shots already won 1) This dusk shot from the NJCL was well received when I first posted it, but it was a while ago and not here, so... 2) I really just find this one curious. From my pool to share later. I remember taking ages to optimize the angle. 3) There is a well hidden train in this shot, I tell you, on its way to Wearhead. ps) There really is

Another week has passed and again we see beautiful pictures. As always, the decision is difficult. Well, here are the places 3 to 1. 3rd place goes to cscarpenter , nice shot of a Stanier Mogul on Western Lines of Scotland. 2nd place goes to Nick Y , nice shot of the Class 185 in the water on the Doncaster-Leeds-York route. First place goes to Craigie-C with a nice shot of the vR E03 (Pro Line) with the TEE (Trans Europe Express). I still know the original, I'm just an old dog.... Here we go Craig, you're on....
Yahoo!!! thanks Joerg. Must admit I have a major soft spot for the TEE it was my first HO scale model train that I acquired in a car boot sale (LIMA brand) and started me off on all things DB. I have since got rid of the LIMA model & replaced with far superior ROCO. Just love the older DB stock. More to the point, dragging myself back on thread, next weeks comp is up and running. https://forums.dovetailgames.com/th...nshot-contest-2022-week-15.53979/#post-477433 I have chosen the theme "Sunrise / Sunset" Good luck to all
Loved your entries this week , had I been judge, your top two offerings would have definitely been fighting for a top 3 spot.
Thanks Initial hunting for nice angles evolves into finding nice and/or interesting views. It enriches the game a lot.
