Hmm... they HAVE made two nearly identical posts... What is cross-posting, and what is a profile post?
What do I search to find the bots? I don't think I've seen any on this forum.
Do we report them?

EDIT: I just figured out what a profile post is.

 

Like, sometimes someone does legit make an account to post a suggestion, and this person totally may have done so and just picked the wrong thread. It happens.

But I have reported a few new accounts after they have clearly scanned other people's posts and just reposted text in unrelated threads, a thing advertising bots do to build up a forum posting history and seem like regular users before they start making posts about how great such and such a mobile game is.

They should be it sounds they have been putting some real thought into this.

 

Can I suggest putting up a forum announcement BEFORE making the changes so people don't get surprised by them?
And when isn't this forum "weird" in some way?
