Seriously though, that's one thing I really like about the BR 628. It has very nice visibility.
I mean yes it might be "authentic" to drive around with a letter box slot to look out of, but it's a GAME and you wanna see something along the way!

 

Ours aren't much better for visibility. I've had the opportunity to sit in the cabs of a few Metro-North EMU's over the years and they're ok but not great. You should hear what Amtrak engineers think of the Metroliner cab cars, or even better, have some the real old timers tell stories of their time in the cab in a GG1 lol.
