Nice. British Railways had similar diesels (Class 42/43 Warships) based on this design. TSW also has the larger BR "Western" Class 52. I've seen proposals for German diesels on TSW routes. Yes, TSW needs this.

Interesting loco no doubt, only where to run it? There's no historic German routes for TSW, and these went out of DB service in the 1980's. Some still run for private railways still, which would require licensing.

6C5DA3B7-6014-4268-B3ED-1007E2071A65.jpeg They can include a German 80s Route with V200 Loco and also the Rheingold Express with E10 or the BR 103 Loco.

Wouldn't mind a historic German route at all. We never had that in either TSW or TS1. Maybe Cologne-Koblenz. We had a modern version for TS1, so why not recreate it in the 70's or 80's for TSW. 103, 110, 140, 150, V160, V200... so many possibilities!

    Hi,

we definitely need the V200 series (Br 220, 221) in the game, as well as the DB Br 218 (final variant of the V160 series).
I reached out directly to Dovetail to suggest this and was directed to this forum, so I instantly gave your request a big thumbs up.

The V200 is most likely the most iconic diesel loco in western german history. In the 60s and following it was the most important western german diesel loco and was widely used in marketing by Deutsche Bundesbahn of the time so it is really popular. The sound of its engines is really nice as well.

Just as DB Br 218 which for me is like the succesor of the V200 series, the V200s definitely deserve to be featured in this game. Even without a matching historic route, it would be a blast to drive it as a special train with matching waggons on one of the featured modern routes.

    Best regards
    Tobias
