Not sure if its related to the Class 86 release, I dont think it is. 2P43 and 2E78 (the 2 ive spotted but im sure there will be others) never depart from Carnforth as an exit AI, blocking the Down Fast as soon as the next Carnforth local arrives behind it, causing a backup of trains and ruining the timetable flow without doing a full restart
Out of interest when this has happened had you already done one "run" and stayed in game to do another? I've noticed that problems can build up at Carnforth and then jam up the whole works if say I've done Preston to Carlisle then cross to the other platform and take something else south.
Normally Im going about my business and then I'll pass by on the Up Fast and notice the procession of trains backed up. Or ill run into the back of them like today, but yeah normally on a 2nd run back North. It's probably something related to the Stop Off Path issues across most routes where certain spawn times create glitches that confuses the AI
PS5 By the way, did anyone manage to find the new poster, tier 2 Mastery? I went through all the stations and didn't come across it anywhere or am I blind....
What I've noticed with the poster you can have any of the UK poster at any stations. I noticed a Cumbria poster and Milton Keynes.
I don't think there was any other poster added to the Preston - Carlisle map other than the original one.....but maybe I'm looking at it wrong
I don't think any of the mastery posters appear on WCMLos, which is fine with me because it has so many of its own bespoke posters anyway. I have seen both the "Cumbria" and "Wembley" posters on WCML South, however.
Noticed there is an artifact on this wagon here, the blue flatbed on the coupler and it appears during a scenario if you connect this wagon to the red flatbed, the chain coupler seems to have a "spasm" or glitch out.
I can see that Windermere station is on the map can actually get up there and explore round there. Also what are the warcap jobs i have tried them and get now where. Tells me to couple up to formation but there is nothing there to couple up to.
It pops up on the forums and the FB groups every couple of weeks. You would think given how many times it's been posted now that they would fix it.
I am not getting the Carlisle trip workings layer despite owning (I believe) the required DLCs. The only one I'm doubtful on is the "LMC_BR_12T_Van" - I have this on Transpennine North Heavy Freight Pack, but have heard you need Spirit of Steam to make this work - can anyone confirm the full list of DLCs to make trip workings appear? I'm on PS5.
You need spirit of steam for these to be playable. I own all dlc except the steam ones and it doesn't show up.
I've never played the Crewe to Liverpool route, and have no intention of doing so either as steam is not my thing. But I bought it at rock bottom price in a sale a while back just so I could do the trip workings. They are a lot of fun. Another reason why stock and routes need to be unlinked as I could save on drive space by not having the route installed, just the wagons.
How come i just got a load off shunting jobs with the 08. Mainly cement wagons never had them until today.
Some services only show up for certain 08s. For example, 9T07 only appears for Type A. But the others are all there for most shunters and I've done 9T05. So either you've missed them before, something has been added which makes the services appear on your timetables, or maybe an error with game. I haven't seen any patches for WCMLoS so I doubt it was that.
Yeah certain Gronks have specific workings, like the Hardendale workings are only available to the rather well weathered loco. Some are "based" near Preston, others up at Carlisle.
Platform: Xbox one Scenario: Cross Country Can Similarly to the temporary AWS on ECML, I feel we could be given more detail on the hud about the location of the temporary speed restriction. Whilst you are told when to start slowing down, you're not told exactly where the speed restriction starts and stops and at the time of playing the scenario I'm not familiarised with where Hardendale is. I assume it ends once the whole train has passed the blue sign with a T after the blue 30 sign. It would be useful if this speed restriction appeared on the hud like a normal speed limit or even as a type of go via instruction if possible. Otherwise you're at risk of running through at about 50mph if you didn't know how soon the restriction was coming up. I also couldn't complete the scenario because after passing Penrith, it wouldn't move onto the next instruction it just stayed on go via Penrith platform 2 all the way to Carlisle and then the game crashed when I tried to pause whilst sitting at Carlisle. Near over 15,000 of AP too, quite annoying. Apart from that I enjoyed the scenario, it was nice to see some variety in rolling stock that I don't usually get in timetable mode.
