I've done two trips from Lancaster to Morecambe in a 101 in Conductor Mode. No-one gets on at either Lancaster or Bare Lane - no tickets to check.
What a complete waste of time - unless you need to speedrun monthly mastery challenges.

No matter which service you're conductor on with this route, no passengers will get on.
