Just trains have done it again. No 1 again. Absolutely superb and stunning route.

JT have knocked out of the park again...let down by severe blurries (XBOX/X) for me which is obviously down to the core program and in no way should detract from the effort that JT have put into this route. Thank You

The best thing about JT, is that they can turn any route into a bloody masterpiece.

this is why I trust third parties MUCH MORE over DTG.

Yes for sure, what even is the point of having a feature and then throttling it because it isn't present IRL? And I would also add that you STILL cannot save the the audio settings for cab announcements in the "normal way," such as pressing the Menu button for Xbox. You have to exit and have the game ask you if you want to save your changes. There is definitely something wrong with in-cab announcements that DTG apparently are not seeing.

can I just say that Just Trains are genuinely a 10/10 third party.

throughout the entire time JT has been in TSW, it seems like they just never miss.

Like. I know I sound like I’m glazing here, but the variety and quality of their routes is genuinely unmatched.

JT release stuff basically yearly, but they do it to such a high standard, it just negates that completely. And you can genuinely understand why it takes so long, because the devs actually put passion into their routes to make sure that it looks good, with the most amount crammed in.

This doesn’t feel like a developer who wants money, this feels like a passionate group of people, who genuinely enjoy what they make, and how they make it.

They communicate so well with the community and it feels like they really want to deliver and show us the behind the scenes and how routes are actually made to high expectations we all want.

I will forever hold JT in high regard, and they have saved not just the BR side of TSW, but the whole UK side of it.

Whenever they announce a route is coming soon, it just fills the whole community with joy.

JT, never change. You are brilliant.

The route is excellent with so much variety and things to do.

I have for the first time had some performance issues though, maybe some of it was due to a first run through. I ran a service from Preston to Crewe with the 86/4.. There were places it was quite stuttery then seem to smooth out for a while It paused whilst going through Warrington and was slow around Crewe. When loading passengers a train arrived from the south, it was very stuttery when it pulled in.

I had a quick go in the class 20 on the colliery branch, well it wasn't quick as I couldn't get above 5mph going up the hill, then couldn't stop at the signal going down!

A lot of work has clearly gone into the route so well done JT, looking forward to exploring more.

Bring on Cumbrian coast and the class 108!

What's with the uber low res locos and rolling stock?

    Highs and lows of TSW:
The Class 20 coal services are amazing, and the services chain together in interesting ways- 7T75 Part 1 becomes stabling moves 0T75 Parts 1 and 2.

But, running 7T75 Part 2, I got a CTD about 2.5 miles from Warrington with a UE error about texture renaming or something.

I have no mods installed so idk what that's about.

I was afraid of that, hopefully JustTrains can modify this to work the way Roman’s mod does, it’s really the perfect approach given the driver would just hold the lever in place as you’ve said.

Day 1 purchase & well deserved! The route is brilliant, part of it I know personally (Warrington, Acton Bridge, Hartford, Crewe) & I can tell you the detail is phenomenal! I can easily ID my mates house next to Latchford sidings & they have gone to the trouble of including one of my local pubs Tom's Inn (Real Name The Coachman Hartford).

1st job was a coal service from Bickershaw to Fiddlers Ferry then back to Latchford, loved it & took a ton of shots as it looked so good! The 20's looked amazing & performed brilliantly.

After that visited a few stations & noticed the core error of those blurry textures spoiling things! 86 & some mk2's looked awful! Come on DTG get it sorted, it never used to do this!

    Route 10/10
TSW6 6/10, Sort them textures out for a better score!

    JT massive well done!

My favourite shot.of 7T75 run to Fiddlers Ferry......

Ok so three runs in, and it...runs like the other routes in TSW for me.
The route itself what I've seen so far has been nicer than Shap, one of the nicer ones actually.
Only thing I've noticed so far is the ballast seems a bit less...textured.
I dunno about blurry, just... flatter I guess.
The amount of freight and variety though is very nice. The scenery is grand.
It seems a lot more populated (rolling stock and static stock) than many other routes.
I'm wondering if that's part of the issue for some people.
The first startup in one yard FULL of locos and stock did take a second of lag to load it all in, but ran fine after that.
